Women across Maine begged Susan Collins not to put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court because they knew Roe was at stake. She did it anyway.

Susan Collins told Maine she didn't believe Brett Kavanaugh would overturn Roe. She said he'd assured her it was settled law. Then she cast the vote that put him on the Supreme Court.
When Roe fell, she was asked if she regretted that vote. Her answer was "I do not regret that vote."
ProPublica has documented women who died after Roe fell because doctors in Georgia and Texas delayed care under abortion bans. Amber Nicole Thurman and Candi Miller in Georgia. Nevaeh Crain, 18, and Porsha Ngumezi in Texas. State reviewers called the Georgia deaths preventable.
Women have died because Susan Collins didn't stand up for them when it mattered most. Now she's being asked why she shouldn't pay an electoral price.
