"Vandalism like this is not funny, it’s diabolical." A statue and memorial honoring Charlie Kirk outside Turning Point USA's Phoenix headquarters are vandalized just three days after the statue was unveiled to mark one-year since his assassination. Bright red paint is smeared across the eight-foot statue, while a memorial featuring Kirk's photo and a Christian message referencing Jesus is also defaced. "They think spray paint can obscure his legacy, but it will only spread it further," Erika Kirk writes in response to the vandalism. Turning Point USA says it will restore the statue and replace the signs while working with law enforcement to identify those responsible.
