Thee is a unique stillness and quiet that falls over the deep woods just before dawn.
In my experience, it is an unmatched echo chamber for a “still, small voice to echo in.
Speak, Lord… for your servant is listening.
And just like that, all is right in my world again.
A welcome warming glow from my heater on a cool Ozark morn. A grandson to share the hunt with and evidence of new bucks to encourage us.
My soul just exhaled.

Wicked company is infectious and dangerous.

Due to the severe drought, his harvest was less than 1/2 of normal.
All of our Kenyan pastors/staff are "bi-vocational". Many are farmers.
Pray that God provides.
He that would not get burned must dread the fire.
To venture upon the occasion of sin, and then to pray, 'Lead us not into temptation', is like one who thrusts his finger in the fire and then prays that it might not get burnt. --Thomas Brooks

"For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who DOES the truth comes to the light, this his deeds may be clearly seen, that they havve been done in God."--Jesus speaking, John 3:20
On a recent vacation I worked for @Marriott much of the time. Scanning codes/downloading this & that, ordering room service online.
Then I realized— I don’t work for Marriott, they work for me. Bring back customer service or send me my payroll check.
Happy birthday Lily!
12 years old and becoming quite the young lady.
But, you will always be papaw’s partner in mischief.
You give me life’s best gift… you make me smile.
