We wish you a festive holiday season with LIGHTS and a lot to ChEC off of your wishlist ✨ 🎁
As our university project formally comes to an end this month, we will not post to this account anymore next year.
As the research on solar water splitting certainly doesn't stop, ... ➡

This study presents a hybrid polyethyleneimine/TiO₂ protective layer as a low-cost photoanode for solar water oxidation. The hybrid layer facilitates hole transfer from the photoanode and results in high photostability over 400 hours. @TilleyLab @UZH_Chemistry

Had a great time at the LightChEC Summer School at Aegerisee! Fantastic lectures, workshops & discussions on #electrochemistry & #catalysis for energy conversion. Thanks @TilleyLab @PatzkeGroup for organising this wonderful event & for the invitation!
@LightChEC @surendranathlab
Our curious Summer School participants have all arrived at Aegerisee 👍. It's not looking quite as stunning today 🌧 (sunrise image by Sergi Gomez Sanchis) - but we instead focus on the two magical forks from @yogi_chem, explaining electrochemistry in detail this afternoon.
The second poster session again shows the work of all our attendants - presenting their own research and getting valuable feedback and ideas from other participants or speakers.
And on the last day, we are not 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 hydrogen any more, but learning how it interacts with metal in Astrid Pundt's lecture @KITKarlsruhe
