20-minutes Upper Body strength training + first jog since Freep 1/2 (slow), 30-minutes. Heart rate Zone 2.
@SalimSiddiquiMD now you can tell another brain cancer patient that you know one who completed her third 1/2 marathon in 10 years since Dx— even after a weird new FLAIR (lacunar infarct?)!
2 years without Tiffany. With her gone, over in that great next place— here, over on this side, things don’t quite feel the same. Miss you, girl. Miss your living in this life. It reminded me to do the same. I love you forever. Ever onward, lil sis.
Total rest days from physical fitness is my personal hell. Even if it is suggested by a physical trainer or programming.
I’m completing the Detroit Free Press (1/2) Marathon on Sunday to show up & support HFH’s Game On Cancer. Please consider a donation. Link below.

Maybe it’s just the shortened daylight. Or probably the decline of friends/family… or the death of those. The air feels heavy.
Longest run for this week before next Sunday’s @FreepMarathon (1/2): the longest I could go on my treadmill— just over 7 miles. Was intentionally incredibly slow & still felt like my legs were stuck in molasses. WoOf. 🫠
Watching drama across street. Husband has some mental issues. Police been over a lot. Sweet grandmas & kids. The wife just exited house with the dogs with safe police escort. Police standing outside with gear in a ready position. 🤷🏼♀️
Many regrets for drinking multiple fancy cocktails yesterday. Also, my Apple Watch says my daily physical activity time average is down from, like, 120 minutes a day to 91 in the last 4 weeks. I wish I could punch the watch in the face & tell it how freaking life gets crazy!
I stopped thinking about weight loss & lost 30+ lbs over the last year & a half. Started caring again & gained back 5lbs. Granted, my appetite is bonkers with training lately & extra burn down since my dog decided he’s not into long walks 3x a day anymore.
