Duke & Tennessee are both way too good to be playing each other this early. Pretty rare that you get two teams that are really fantastic on defense and super disciplined meeting in the round of 32. Great, great bball so far, but feels like this should be the Sweet Sixteen.

The whole point was to hopefully push the players to have a chip on their shoulder based on where they were picked to make the game more competitive. Yes, I know this format was also put in place to appease the now earlier trade deadline. Please don’t turn into the No Fun League.

The NBA is looking to avoid a ‘last picked’ situation in the NBA All-Star draft this year, per TNT NBA All-Star captains will now pick reserve players first, then will pick the starters right after.

The NFL constantly preaches to us that they are in the “entertainment business” and then when it comes down to the realest moment, they fall back on “but it’s the letter of the law!” with “oh, but by the rule book that’s a hold” even though it had no influence on the play. YIKES.
