That's when you stop defending ideas with evidence and start defending them with emotions
Identity can become the enemy of truth
Logic does not work against religion:
Muslims will act like terrorism has no religion, despite lots of evidence to the contrary.
Hindus will act like some humans are gods and worship them as such, despite lots of evidence that humans are not gods.
Christians will act like colonizing and bombing entire populations and systematically impoverishing and destroying them is somehow justified, as long as it is profitable.
Woke people (yes its a religion) will act like there are more than 2 genders, that babies have no life, and that women in developed countries are oppressed, despite lots of evidence to the contrary.
Etc.
In general, you cannot reason with religious people, especially low IQ religious people.
All you can do is state their opinions back to them, and change the topic of conversation.

There may be some people that should never be parents, but many of the regretful childless people in midlife would’ve been great ones if they had only thought ahead a little bit more.
Your window for having your own biological children is precious. And that’s also why we need to start preparing for marriage and vetting for marriage earlier than you think because all of this takes time.
And finding the right spouse for you comes first.
