From September 8 to 11 on Parliament Hill, MP Dean Allison convened four days of hearings. Some 50 witnesses testified, drawn from more than 1,400 Canadians that were injured by the Covid-19 vaccines. Shawn Buckley was lead counsel for the Inquiry. Teresa Buckley was the Executive Director.
We will hear what it took to start that inquiry, what the room felt like once testimony began, and what the aftermath looks like now that the inquiry is over.
The Allison Inquiry was similar to NHPPA's Health Charter Tour: The Health Charter Tour gave a voice to Canadians whose lives depend on natural health products; The Allison Inquiry gave a voice to Canadians injured by the Covid-19 vaccines.
The Health Charter Tour and the Allison Inquiry reveal that Canadians are not being heard by Parliament. Our discussion with Dean Allison will explore the challenges MPs face in managing all of the communications and agendas they face. Hopefully we can learn how to better approach MPs as we face challenges with Bill C-224 and the Health Charter.

Correct. Despite being located directly across the street from the Allison Inquiry, CBC did not make an appearance—nor did CTV, Global, or other major mainstream news outlets.
Independent media did show up, and they continue to do an important job of bringing these testimonies to Canadians.
The stories are being heard. The record is being preserved.

MP Blaine Calkins says that, with respect to the death of a HoC staffer who worked for him for 10 years, "There's no doubt in my mind these shots killed him."
Scott Gorry was a House of Commons staffer. He collapsed at a softball game after his second COVID-19 dose in September 2021.
He was diagnosed with myocarditis, and was approved for compensation by the federal Vaccine Injury Support Program.
He died in July 2026. He left behind a wife, Mylene, and two children. He had publicly said the Moderna shots caused his cardiac arrest and that he needed a transplant.
Before he passed, he told his sister, Dr. Crystal Luchkiw, that he wanted to testify at the Allison Inquiry.
She says his injury was minimized by health care professionals, that he faced discrimination due to the cause of his condition, and that he was treated with judgement instead of compassion.

“If I Testify, I’ll Never See My Grandchildren Again”
In his opening statement at the Allison Inquiry, Counsel Shawn Buckley revealed the extraordinary pressures some potential witnesses faced simply for being willing to speak publicly.
One person was told by a family member, “If I testify, I will never see my grandchildren again.” Another injured witness, who had already lost her mother and a sibling, feared losing the last family member she had left if she testified.
Shawn also described witnesses facing profound physical challenges—including people in wheelchairs, someone requiring dialysis, and another who depended on IV nutrition and medical pumps just to attend the proceedings.
These were the people who came forward despite the personal, family, and physical costs.
This is why the stories had to be heard.
