My heart has felt heavy with the recent loss of one of our NELA students. I feel like too many people seem to think that bullying is ok and it’s not. We need to rise up and stand up against bullies. October is #bullyingpreventionmonth
I’ve worked for the City of LA for 22 years, school district for 26. I work so hard everyday to keep my patrons safe. To hear the president joke about destroying our American cities is so disheartening. This is a pic from Constitution Day which I’ve celebrated for 21 years.

Celebrating #constitutionday in the #schoollibrary I’ve been doing this since 2005 when it was mandated all schools acknowledge it in some way. The amazing School Board President by stopped by, I made cowboy cookies for the adults the kids had a great time. #librarytechnician
How cool is that? An anonymous patron gave the staff at the library gift cards for @VillasTacosLA After my coworker handed it to me I kept working on the holds list and this book was next on the list! 💙 We work so hard, so grateful for this!

I genuinely don’t understand how we are supposed to casually process that a glacier literally collapsed in Nepal, erasing 19 bridges and killing over 600 people, because the planet is too hot. And instead of stopping it, billionaires are building more data centres. It is completely psychotic.

Imagination Library has 40k followers, but should have MORE. If you can't donate in Dolly's honor, then we could at least help grow the platform and its visibility by following.
My adorable granddaughter, at 2 1/2 weeks she helped me when I forgot a word in the song. First time I ever sang it to her💖

Dr. Fauci received flowers from a fan with a note saying “We love you Dr. Fauci!” Love this. He’s an American hero who should be celebrated, not torn down.

I am deeply appalled and angry to see “Firework” used on the @WhiteHouse TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. I did not approve this, I was not asked, and I absolutely do not condone it.
I wrote this song to be an anthem of hope, healing, and inner strength for people going through their darkest personal moments. To see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence is a complete violation of everything my song stands for.
My music is for bringing people together, not celebrating warfare.
