Our research shows 6 in 10 parents and carers of young children wish they'd known earlier how important it is to read together.
That's why we work with a range of Early Years practitioners and settings, supporting families to share stories from the earliest days.

Only 1 in 3 children now enjoy the life-changing benefits of reading, so let’s get World Book
Day’s signature fun events – and a book of their own - to more children in disadvantaged
communities.
Until MIDDAY TOMORROW every donation is doubled through The Big Give’s matched funding pot.
📚A £10 donation gives 20 new books
🎨 £25 becomes £50 for crafting with 100 children
🔓£50 makes £100 to support authors and illustrators to read aloud, draw-along and unlock a love of reading. 💛
