Spoilers make is seem like Kim doesn’t find out that Thea is her daughter during the scuffle at home farm. Surely she’ll find out in the hospital then. #Emmerdale

Oooo a very soapy theory 🧐Yes I’m sure Claire King confirmed the secret is revealed Halloween week after ‘something happens’ (we now know this is the stabbing) I’m just wondering how Kim finds out…

I'm wondering if Kim will get arrested for it, and its at that point Thea (who believes with the arrest she's finally brought Kim Tate down) reveal who she is.

And dropping themselves in it in the process! Some openly defiant and admit it. TV license investigators are still using same tactics as the 70s and 80s - if they actually looked at social media posts etc. they'd probably catch more people out (not that I'm saying its right).

I'm available for web work! I support existing websites, e.g. fixing problems, changes, etc. My background is in coding meaning I can often spot & fix problems. Happy to take on smaller work at my hourly rate. To discuss further, e-mail: [email protected] #earlybiz

We know @sharigledhill and @The_Mac_Sheep would love this. We would love it too.

What if Graham isn't Thea's dad and the real dad is Steve Merchant and that's who's kidnapped baby Tate #Emmerdale

I don't know why she hasn't been brought back. At least 50% of the village would know her- Sam, Eric, Marlon , Mandy, Charity, Cain etc. Plus she has all the history with Kim. Isn't she Joe's godmother too?

And has close ties to the Sugdens too, including helping to look after Robert and Victoria while Jack was in prison! Would also tie in nicely with the current storyline of rebuilding a new Emmerdale Farm and bringing back the Sugdens as key players in the village!

It will be Joe that kidnaps him to teach Graham and Kim a lesson.

I'm thinking it'll be Joe too.

I'd love this too!! 😀 Modern Emmerdale has had a real 90s Classic Emmerdale feel to it recently... so perhaps they are calling back to a similar 90s storyline, and it's one of the Glovers out for revenge. Probably not though 😂

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is going to be the case, I can't see it being anyone else tbh. There's no point in Steve Merchant being her dad unless he's returning to the show. Via Inside Soap Magazine 🎯🏹 Hits and Misses feature.

While I'm hoping its Steve Merchant (so the character finally returns/is acknowledged) I suspect you are right. Plus if Steve Merchant was to return, they'd have probably done a big announcement about it by now!

A side project I released earlier this month! A plain text editor (that contains additional tools than the standard Windows Notepad, while not overwhelming). Ideal for editing settings, notes, saving plain text, coding, etc. Available for free at: libraryplayer.co.uk/2026/10/…

People criticise it for being different from original trilogy. Plus there was a lot of expectation/personal fanfiction about Vader's origin which prequels contradicted. And then new sequels criticised for being a copy of original movies (rather than a new story like prequels) 🤦

Thank you to everyone who joined in with #SmartSocial. There won't be a hosted session next week as I'll be on the road travelling back home and I get car sick if I look at my phone, so I'll catch up when we stop or if we hit traffic. Please do still use the hashtag and join in.

And Seth Armstrong! Who kept Home Farm free of poachers for many years... well apart from his own poaching anyway 😂

We just want to state that we have been made aware that other #Emmerdale podcasts exist, however we would like to think there is room for everyone. No offence meant to anyone on any other podcast ☺️

Absolutely, more the better. Plus each is unique! One thing I like about Emmerdale fans, is its so friendly, e.g. new and long-time fans are made equally welcome online, social media, etc. Seen a lot of gatekeeping for science fiction shows for example, that don't see here! 😀

A bit of Classic Emmerdale chat, maybe an occasional focus episode on themes or families.

I'd love to see interviews with past actors from the Classic Emmerdale era. Not necessarily the well-known ones - e.g. from some of the actors only in it for a while, writers/producers, etc.! (And an interview with the actor who played you-know-who would be a bonus!!!)
