Years ago I didn’t understand why America had a Second Amendment.
Now that I’m living through actual government tyranny in Europe I very much am beginning to understand.

Freedom of speech is key, but so is respecting the host nation's culture and traditions.
These women should focus on promoting their own faith rather than suppressing others, it's not about banning or dictating what others can believe.
It's also unhelpful to make sweeping statements about an entire nation being racist, constructive dialogue is needed instead.

When I worked in a fire department we had to write up a report at the end of the day that detailed everything we did in the 24 hours we were on shift.
It was such a priority they would allow overtime to get it completed if needed.

Mother is furious she is being summoned to appear in Juvenile Court over her child missing 5 days of school after being sick and their house catching on fire
She just received the letter, “Monday at 8 a.m. they want me and my child to be at a court house”
“This is an early warning program complaint that has been signed against your child”
“I'm at a loss for words right now. This has got to be something with funding and the schools getting money. What's not gonna happen though, is you're not gonna tell me when my child can miss school and when he can't, and how many he can and how many he can't.”
It does have to do with funding, it has nothing to do with what’s best for the kid. It’s all about them getting their money

I’m a physician, and I will literally do ANYTHING to avoid taking a prescription drug.
It’s not my thing and never will be.
