BREAKING: Here's the metadata for the dirt sheet Albanese shopped around against Australian MP Helen Haines in the weeks leading up to the far-left terror attack on her life. Metadata says it was written in Word on an Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) system by the account "Lloyd, Joshua". Joshua Lloyd is Deputy Director of Communications to the Prime Minister of Australia. Great to know Josh spent 2 hours working on the document. Great use of my taxpayer money you bunch of fucking clowns. Thanks for toning down the temperature and uplifting the civility of our national body politic @AlboMP

I agree with Richard. The more tax the Govts take, the poorer the country becomes.
Just cut government spending!

Everyday families in New South Wales are already feeling the squeeze, yet bureaucrats now want to add another tax to household power bills to subsidise electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Why should struggling households who drive traditional petrol or diesel cars, or can barely afford their current power bills, be forced to foot the bill for someone else's vehicle choice? If electric vehicles are economically viable, private enterprise and EV drivers will build and pay for the chargers themselves through the free market. This plan is nothing more than corporate welfare disguised as environmental policy. It redistributes wealth from everyday consumers to wealthy corporations and government-favoured industries. The NSW Libertarians stand firmly against any government mandates, levies, or covert taxes shoved onto your utility bills. Stop forcing taxpayers to subsidise private choices. Let the market operate freely, stop government overreach, and keep bureaucrats’ hands out of the pockets of everyday NSW households.

🚨 If NSW is going to have a prosperous future we need to simplify the pathway for building data centres ... and we need a robust nuclear power industry to provide an abundance of cheap electricity. @LibertariansNSW

Taxing housing will only reduce the number of houses built. Zoning and regulation also restrict supply. High taxes on housing, strict zoning and restrictive regulation will never resolve the housing crisis, will not reduce rents, and will never alleviate homelessness.
The policy designed to build more homes has delivered fewer – and Australia’s biggest developers say Jim Chalmers must reverse course now. Read the full story: bit.ly/4kbFvzY

Christians and charities help the poor by voluntarily giving their own money, time and effort. Socialist use state power to tax money from others and redistribute it according to political priorities. Socialists give away other people's money, while taxpayers fund the politicians and bureaucracies administering it, often overgenerously. Charity is voluntary generosity. Socialism is compulsory redistribution. One asks people to give; the other uses government power to take. It is easy to appear generous when you're giving away someone else's money. It becomes corrupt when socialists chase the appearance of generosity as a smoke screen for self enrichment.
I've seen a few of my liberal/left/progressive/Democrat friends sharing this. It reflects a total misunderstanding of what Jesus said. It boils down to this: A politician "doing it" means passing a law that takes something from someone else to redistribute it. In effect, redistributive politicians are parasites. They only consume, not create. They feed on the productive activities of others. Socialism is coercion—forcing the many to support the few. And that's at odds with what Jesus called for, for two reasons: 1. Jesus encouraged free will offerings. He told us to give voluntarily—because part of the point of charity is not simply to transfer property to another person, but to transform our souls in the process through the mutual benefit that comes from supporting our brothers and sisters. 2. The "greatest commandments" taught by Jesus were to love God and love others. We cannot reconcile socialism with love, for it is the weaponization of envy and enmity. You don't love someone when you take things from them without their consent. Those sharing this image either do not understand Christianity, do not understand socialism, or both. That ignorance needs correction. See below for a book that can help.

Albanese likes absolute control over health care via Medicare and loathes any competition from private health care where people want to take personal responsibility for their own health. Punishing aged pensioners for having their own private health care is cruel and heartless .... and will overload public health systems. Government should be increasing rebates for private health care and encouraging people to take personal responsibility. Instead .... Dragging everyone down in a race to the bottom is the Albanese way.
ALBO’S SHAMELESS BETRAYAL, LABOR LAUNCHES $3 BILLION RAID ON PENSIONERS’ HEALTHCARE While Anthony Albanese sits comfortably on a mountain of taxpayer funded perks, his government has just declared war on Australia’s most vulnerable. In a brutal, cold hearted cash grab, Labor is ripping away private health rebates, forcing up to 1.5 MILLION struggling seniors to choose between buying groceries or keeping their medical cover. Albo would never dream of sacrificing his own elite healthcare, yet he expects older Australians who built this country to cop the pain for his budget disaster. This isn’t policy, it’s an absolute mugging of our retirees. The shocking reality of Labor's attack: Over 1.2 million, and potentially up to 1.5 million, full and part rate pensioners are being aggressively targeted to foot the bill for Labor's financial incompetence. In an embarrassing display of incompetence, the government completely cooked the books, failing to realise their plan hits 300,000 more seniors than they estimated. Peak bodies (COTA & National Seniors) are screaming from the rooftops. This short sighted raid will force vulnerable elderly Australians out of private care, triggering an unprecedented collapse of our already buckling public hospital system. The experts handed Albo easy alternatives to save cash, like cutting fat from overpriced medical devices or taxing high flying millionaires. Instead, Labor chose to raid the wallets of grandmas and grandpas who have paid taxes for decades. This is a gutless, out of touch assault on the everyday Australians who can least afford it. Absolutely disgraceful.

If you want less of something ..... tax it. If you want real scarcity ..... tax it severely until the supply dries up. Chalmers is going after tech and innovation (the future) to address imbalances in his high-spending budget. We all know where this will lead. There is already a housing / rental / homelessness crisis from taxing housing (basic shelter / homes).
The US Treasury has warned Australian tax officials that global tech giants – including Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Disney – will pull back on local investment if they persist in chasing billions of dollars more in revenue from software and streaming services. The Australian Taxation Office last month released a final ruling on taxing software revenue earned in Australia but transferred offshore. The ruling breaks from major treaty partners to take a more aggressive approach to taxing global giants on royalties for software and intellectual property rights, a global revenue base now estimated to be worth more than $US1 trillion a year. afr.com/wealth/tax/us-warns-…

It's Ministry of Truth (1984 - Orwell) stuff. In Orwell's 1984, "Newspeak" was the official language of Oceania. Australia is literally in the Oceania region. Are we sure George Orwell wasn't a time traveller?
