My real estate agent's BROKER just called me at 9pm on a Friday to tell me that the seller doesn't want to sell a house to me because I am BLACK. This is after the inspection, contract agreement, down payment. Baby, I'm either buying your house or buying YOUR BLOCK. CHOOSE ONE.

My son has sickle cell disease and was kicked off of Medicaid in 2019. I lost 100lbs to join the US Army so that he could have medical coverage. On October 29, 2020 I became an American Soldier!

6 years ago, 9 months before residency graduation, baby girl arrived! My pathetic residency director tried to suspend me for missing 7 morning didactic sessions (to take older children to school) after the birth. I argued this was a blatant FMLA violation. He persisted. 🧵
