Why did it take them needing national media attention for this to happen? Let’s not forget their initial response was to double down.

-> Jackson’s campaign said this morning the ad has run its “scheduled course” and is already off air. It’s since been replaced with three attack ads targeting Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms’ record. #gapol

Sarah, I’ve organized in Georgia for over a decade. We heard what Walz is saying at the doors all over the state. The campaign picked the mythical swing voter over our own. For every Trump voter we won, we lost 4 of our own, 3 to the couch.
I saw a while back you saying that Cheney didn’t matter and there was no evidence/polling. But we also have polling from Michigan and Pennsylvania at the time saying it does.
I get it. I truly do. The people in our circles, and even some voters, care about things like Liz Cheney breaking with her party. But it doesn’t scale.
This is the dumbest analysis imaginable. Democrats lost because they re-nominated an 82 yo unpopular incumbent and when he had a health event on stage they replaced him w the unpopular VP they clearly had no confidence in. Voters didn’t like that she was a CA progressive, so she tried to shake that off by running a completely different campaign, but refused to distance herself from her unpopular boss. This left voters without a clear sense of who she was. She made a lousy VP pick that added almost nothing to the campaign. This is why she lost. Her ONE DAY with Liz Cheney is not. I didn’t consult for her campaign or advise it in any way, only said yes to helping when asked to moderate an event, because I desperately wanted her to win. Part of the reasons Dems struggle is they are unwilling to look facts about voters square in the face and love to pretend the world is different than it is. But you can’t win going forward if you can’t be honest about why your candidate lost. And if you’re looking to blame people for Trump winning, look no further than all the folks who couldn’t be bothered to vote for Kamala because she wasn’t pure enough for them.

I’m Jalen. I live in SC.
I want to know why my Democratic nominee for the US Senate decided to make an ad playing the Republicans’ transphobic blame game instead of talking about gas and grocery prices?
After 31 consecutive Democratic statewide loses, it seems immoral and dumb.
Hey folks! I’m working on my Substack this week about the 2026 midterm elections.
Twenty years ago, I was executive director of the U.S. House Democratic Caucus during one of the most historic midterms in modern history. I see a lot of parallels between 2006 and what’s unfolding this year.
But I want to hear from YOU. What questions do you have about these midterms? What could Democratic majorities in the House and Senate look like, and what could they get done?
Drop your questions in the comments, along with your name and the state you live in. I’ll try to answer as many as I can in this week’s Substack.
Thanks, folks!

This ad is obviously being made to tell Republicans to hold their nose & vote for her corrupt POS ex-husband who she covered for during his impeachment after he accepted a bribe to drop charges in exchange for his mistresses’ kitchen remodel, but she won’t even mention his name.

“Made some bad personal decisions.” Like securities fraud, outright theft, sucking in millions on a public salary, protecting multiple pedophiles and sex offenders. What a snake.
"Just because Ken Paxton made some bad personal decisions doesn't mean I have to put my face in a wood chipper and vote for people who have gone plumb crazy!" -- @ScottJenningsKY

Horrible take which shows no compassion, empathy or awareness of the effects of trauma on the human brain.

The "elephant in the room" here is the political structure that can repeatedly humiliate a woman through her husband’s actions and still require her to publicly stand beside him and endorse him. That structure deserves a lot more scrutiny.

Disgraceful. Teaching your daughter how little she is worth. Compared to a husband's ambition, what's a little adultery, betrayal, and greed?

And she traded an honest marriage for a network & ill-gotten wealth to make her a Senator. Now she telegraphs to young women that they are worth nothing in the face of their husband's ambition. They make me and countless other voters physically ill. They are untrustworthy. 2/2

I don't know how to get you people to understand: Paxton and his wife both are vile people. He's an unrepentant monster who cheated on his wife multiple times across years. Then he took bribes and misappropriated government resources to keep his mistresses close. 1/

The renewed political smear campaign against Jack Smith comes as GOP faces massive losses in midterms. It is a distraction and a lie. Smith did his job as a prosecutor — investigated the facts, found evidence of crimes that could be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, and filed charges.

This shit bag never should’ve been anywhere near a fucking senate seat and maybe next time you’ll listen. Get the fuck out of this race, and hopefully you do the right thing and the honest thing for once in your life.

There’s a week for him to drop out and be replaced by the state party. As per recent polling there are a lot of Maine Dems outside of Mills who have strong statewide favs.
