Lovely to spend an afternoon with year 3 and 4 pupils at the Willow’s Primary School. @willowstimp
Thanks so much to all the pupils for their great questions about my role as a local councillor in #Timperley .
Thank you so much for inviting me.

The system is broken. The Tories have destroyed local government funding & the Labour Government’s decisions on national insurance have added millions to our budget gap here in Trafford. The red/blue and blue/red politics that got us into this mess is not going to get us out. 1/2
Trafford Council has asked the government for support to help address a £12m shortfall in our 2025/26 budget.
Despite finding savings of over £300m in recent years, rising demand for vital services means we’re facing some tough decisions.

Thank you Cllr @WillFrass for all your work, with me, making sure that the top soil and grass seed around the goal posts at @PickeringLodge Park in Timperley is protected by these cages. Hopefully there will be many more goals scored as the pitch surface is improved! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

I will be keeping the pressure on @OneTrafford (Amey) to make sure that the Grove Lane hedge in #Timperley doesn’t overgrow again and block the pavement.

Today we remember Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We remember the steadfastness, resolve and love the late Queen brought to our nation and to the world.
And we hold in our thoughts The King, the Royal Family and all those whose lives she touched.

I was greeted by @MENnewsdesk at my routine GP appt today! “My family have relied on this GP surgery for more than 30 years. I’m unhappy that patients weren’t told earlier. I'm cross about not being informed as local Cllr in the area.” manchestereveningnews.co.uk/…

The Conservative Party is in meltdown.
After years of failing our NHS and failing to deal with the cost of living crisis it is time people across the country have their opportunity to give a verdict on this chaotic soap opera government.
