Ye literally never again.
Done it twice now. As Aussie / German founder I’ve seen both sides. Of how easy it can be and how fkn hard it is.
It’s also not just opening a company. This is a good example for what to expect running and closing eventually.
It needs to change
Met a German founder this week and asked him if all the stories one reads about the challenges of startups in Germany are exaggerated. "No, they're understated." Proceeded to describe spending a full day having a 90-page investment contract read to him (mandatory under German law; § 13 BeurkG) by a notary that then charged €30,000. That was for his first company. His second company, needless to say, was not incorporated in Germany.
You used to open X and see the same post all the time for like a week. Now you close it ans open again and it changes and lose the post you were reading. It’s like insta is.
Both not great. Needs a middle ground.
longevity.haus shameless plug here. But also why I built this. Tho we don’t have much china yet. There’s lots of Thailand sing Malay and more.
fable 5 unusable really without hitting 5h limits all the time with subagents 1-2h into a session, even on the $200/m plan. i thought i saw a message that said its also uses 2x usage right now as well on the Claude mac app.
Biggest hack for healthcare in Germany:
Go next door to Poland. Pay 50% less for things you’d pay for anyway (dental, aesthetics, diagnostics like MRI bloods, much more)
(Works for Austria, Swiss, Denmark etc in places like Estonia, Czech, Croatia, Greece )
On the $200/m claude code plan. I've used 60% of weekly usage now with opus 4.8 with ultracode effort. And 6 days left until reset 🙃

New paper by @BKennedy_aging finds that supplement users have a significantly younger Age Delta, which is not the case for medication users
What were the supplements?
1. Alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG), carotenoids, calcium, CoQ10, curcumin, D3, and NAD+ boosters were associated with lower Age Delta
2. The paper "shows for the first time that an inexpensive, non-invasive, saliva-based biological age test can be a powerful tool to conduct population research and uncover relationships between lifestyle, medications, and supplement use"
3. Heavy supplement use was neither beneficial nor harmful
4. However, older men appeared to respond better to AKG than older women
5. AKG was associated with lower Age Residual regardless of weight, weekly exercise, or alcohol intake, with slightly larger benefits seen in those who exercise more often
6. Traditionally, doctors view polypharmacy (more than one treatment) as a liability to be avoided. However, "it is more likely that polypharmacy is a consequence and not a cause of age-related morbidity."
7. Several observational studies find combining two drugs reduces all-cause mortality. The potential risks and harms of supplement polypharmacy are less understood.
8. In this cohort almost 11% of the participants were taking more than 5 supplements, yet their health condition was excellent and higher supplement use was not associated with older biological age, suggesting that supplement combinations are well tolerated
Useful study. Well done @BKennedy_aging and team. Food for thought 🤔
Me and my mate do this. Pick day. Walk out the door. Literally just go with the flow for a whole day. Talk to random kuntz, go where the wind takes you, do fun dumb things. Some of the best days. Hard to describe really

In Bangkok speaking with and signing up more partner clinics for longevity.haus 🤝
We’re always looking for more clinics work with. We also do commission on referrals.
I’m gonna assume this is real. This honestly the reason why we do these things. Part of Dmt is facing all our biggest fears, regrets, demons, more 10,000x. Is not a walk in the park.
But is v important work for ourselves. And others. And for collective consciousness. It is lessons. Pure truth of what you need to see. For forgiveness. For love. Whatever it is
BJ literally driving growth for healthcare verticals and creating new startups:
- bbl skin treatments bout to be booked out
- home saunas selling out
- iced nuts underwear
- hbot sales up! Everyone has one now
- home chefs for meal prepping
- full rig red light panel gone
Results from my Feb 23 skin therapy:
Improvements since treatment:
> Brown spots: +71 percentile points (20th → 91st) ✅
> Pores: +25 percentile points ✅
> Spots: +25 percentile points✅
My skin age is 9 years younger than my chronological age (39 vs 48) and hasn't aged in five years since starting this project. Effectively a 9 year age reversal. Measured using VISIA multispectral clinical imaging, the most validated non-invasive skin analysis system available.
Feb 23 treatment summary
Technologies
> Everesse RF
> CoolPeel CO2 laser
> BBL
Each targeting a different skin depth so repair windows overlap without competing.
Treatment details
Everesse RF (200 pulses, Level 2.5 per cheek), CoolPeel CO2 laser (3.0W, 700 micron spacing), and BBL broadband light. Each targeting a different skin depth.
Everesse drives heat into the dermis at 60-70°C, triggering fibroblast activation and collagen production that peaks 6-8 weeks later (about now), tightening the structural scaffolding that makes pores visible.
CoolPeel ablates the surface layer of skin, physically removing melanin-loaded cells and forcing fresh keratinocytes to the surface.
BBL destroys residual pigment one layer deeper through selective photothermolysis, where melanin absorbs light energy and self-destructs.
Porphyrins dropped 13 points, which is expected. The treatments temporarily disrupt the follicular environment that bacteria need to thrive, and that recovers within 8-12 weeks.
Goal was to do a triple-modality stack so the repair windows overlap without competing (dermis, epidermis, and chromophores).
