Yesterday during the World Bank event, they had quite a lot to say about Kenya, in their report they stated that Kenya's economy could grow by 22% by 2035 if the government tackles corruption, reduces theft of public funds and ensures public money is spent properly.
This could also create up to 7.7 million jobs and reduce the country's debt burden.
During the TEP Unveiling (Now Linda Mwananchi Movement Party) not so long ago, H.E Edwin Watenya Sifuna actually echoed the same, that budgeted corruption continues to be the reason behind the failure and collapse of our economy as we know it!
This is why sectors are failing, institutions are on their death bed, families are unable to put food on their table, cost of electricity and production is high amongst so many issues affecting our country!
And what does GOK does, increase the budget with a cool 600 Billion!
