WINTER / 冬
Born in Tokyo, I’ve always felt a personal connection to my birthplace. Through this series, I return to that connection through painting, bringing Japanese imagery into my own visual language and imagining my presence within a place that has always been part of me.
From my Four Seasons of Japan series.
