We appreciate and thank our community and City Council for making the implementation of a second Battalion Chief (BC) on shift possible! Implementing a second BC allows for continuity of operations, provides the ability to provide oversight and command presence at multiple calls.

Former Mayor Rudy Durham passed away peacefully in his sleep today.
The lifelong Lewisville resident graduated from @LewisvilleHS in 1974 & was a member of the LHS Hall of Fame.
He served on City Council for 21 years before becoming Mayor in 2015. He served as Mayor until 2021.
