Intriguing comment. Marc's been the fastest Ducati lately, but Martin hasn't been the fastest Aprilia. As ever with Marquez, mind games with a smile!

Can't view this as anything other than a massive middle finger to Dorna and Liberty to have your superstar in your own press conference bodyslam a new race weekend format you're desperately trying to pass off as a good thing.

Removing warm-up pretty much sends a rider who had a crash or mechanical straight into a race without having tested their bike. That’s dangerous and also bad for the show if someone, especially a big name, can’t start. At least the terribly-designated ‘Practice’ is gone.

This type of behaviour has always seemed wild to me. And, really, there's not a lot that can be done. But it sure would make a considerable difference if the driver of said fanbase made much stronger statements calling out this behaviour.
