This bullshit is everywhere.
A Reform Senedd staffer complaining about "Splitting the vote". The self entitlement stinks of desperation.
My reply to the staff member of @SteveBayliss8
Restore Britain exists because Reform refused to be the party many of us hoped it would be post 2024.
The split is not abstract. Rupert Lowe was frozen out and then reported to the police after he pushed for mass deportations of foreign nationals linked to the grooming gangs including those who knew and did nothing. Nigel Farage later admitted on television that the deportations position was the real reason they had to get rid of him. The other allegations were dropped. (I joined then shortly after joining Reform due to his treatment)
That is the origin of the movement, not “silliness.”
You say Restore is “splitting the vote”. The same argument was used by the Tories against Reform in 2024. It is a demand that everyone else stand down so Reform can win by default. That is not democracy, it is entitlement. In the recent Rosemount/Midstocket by-election the Conservatives took 24.1% to Reform’s 10.5%. Should Reform have stood down? Should Labour or Greens? Or do only parties you dislike have an obligation to disappear?
If Reform now stood down then it is likely the Tory vote share would pass Labour. Reform’s own record undercuts the claim that it is the only serious vehicle for change. It has absorbed a string of former Conservative ministers and MP's who held power during the Boris wave and the years of record migration (Jenrick, Braverman, Dories, Berry, Zahawi and others). If they could not or would not stop it then, the burden is on Reform to explain why they will now. They could have formed an effective group to push the governments and PM's position if they'd had the will and conviction to do so over a personal desire to stay on the endless train of gravy.
On deportations, the party spent months treating Lowe’s position as extreme. Farage described “mass deportation” as dark and dangerous language and had the phrase removed from a Lowe speech. Restore has published a detailed policy paper setting out 150–200,000 forced removals a year plus voluntary departures. Reform’s language has hardened since, but the earlier hostility is on the record.
Farage has said that living in Wales for a short period, paying tax and having no convictions makes you Welsh and that a British passport makes you British. On those definitions the bulk of the Boris-wave cohort is already “British.” Who, precisely, is left to deport?
Farage promised an inquiry into the Rape Gangs, @RupertLowe10 delivered.
Leadership in Wales has been chaotic. Nathan Gill, a former Reform Wales leader, is serving 10½ years for accepting bribes to make pro-Russian statements. Dan Thomas resigned as Welsh leader after his arrest on suspicion of assault and controlling or coercive behaviour (he was released without charge and denies wrongdoing).
1 of your Top 16 candidates/MS’s has left the party only 4 months into position. Reform can't even field 16 candidates who hold moderately centrist positions let alone hold a basic levels of integrity and principle something I'd suggest has been historically lacking in elected officials hence the mess we are in.
Polling has also moved. Reform’s support has fallen from the mid-30s in 2025 toward the low 20s in more recent Westminster voting intention figures and the party finished second to Plaid in the Senedd where as early polling was suggesting Reform would take the greater vote share. That is not “unstoppable momentum”.
The stand down and back Reform demand is a poor political argument. It’s lazy and implies you agree with the other party on policy and principle hence why there is no argument.
People who want clearer, more comprehensive deportation policy, fewer recycled ministers, and a party that did not eject the MP who pushed hardest on the issue have a right to vote for it, people want a party with principle which is what Restore Britain is. If Reform wants those votes back, it needs to earn them not lecture everyone else for existing.
We have too often voted for the least worst option and that is exactly the predicament now. Reforms deputy leader states "Don't need a policy document to display strong leadership. Just need gut instinct and courage". This is why the support is continually falling. As stated above, you have clearly demonstrated consistently poor leadership and also a complete unwillingness to develop effective policy. This is certainly not courageous.
Vote Tory or Reform/ExTories as currently they are polling higher or vote for a party that is for once offering people like myself, the historically non political, disillusioned public a viable option. I will do all I can to help this be successful for my children's future, if I didn't have them, I'd 100% not be here. I want a future for them like the past I enjoyed as a child. There is only currently one party offering that, all others will deliver the same thing but at a different rate, continued decline.
This is now a real hope that Britain can be Restored.

The Afghan resettlement schemes are a crime committed against the British people, committed in plain sight by Tory ministers.
Almost 40,000 Afghans have been smuggled in.
10 TIMES the number the Tories initially claimed.
They spent £3.1 billion of your money on these schemes, and that will rise to DOUBLE that within a few years.
Afghan nationals in Britain are 22x more likely to be convicted of sex crimes than Brits.
The Tory ministers who did this do not care.
They boasted about it.
Could not stop gushing about how many they had imported.
The average resettled household has 5.5 people. One man brought 22 family members.
The fraud committed on these schemes is off the charts.
Nobody voted for this.
They must be held to account.

Fellow Reform UK member Robert Jenrick is partly responsible for this.

A huge thanks to Billy, our brilliant Lichfield Branch Organiser, who has delivered over 50,000 leaflets for us over the last few months.
He was a mainstay of our Makerfield campaign and has since been helping Edward Oakenfull in his campaign in Amber Valley ahead of the by-election there tomorrow.
A true patriot.

Can Restore Britain win? Make up your own mind.
We...
- have around 150,000 members (fourth largest party in the UK by membership, and growing)
- have 500 or so branches nationwide
- are the second largest party in Scotland (larger than Reform, Labour or Conservatives)
- at 8 months old, are polling consistently higher than Reform UK did at the same age
- at 8 months old, are consistently gaining far higher vote share in elections than Reform did at the same age
The public vote want a party who - and whose leadership...
- they can trust
- listens
- is consistent
- demonstrates moral courage
- does detailed planning
- is credible
- serves the country's interests rather than their own
- is sincere about delivering what the country and the British people need, rather than preserving the status quo
- doesn't care what the left and centrist privileged elite politicians and media who got us into this mess think or say
- always puts the interests of the country and the British people first.
