Some lovely words from LCC alumni @Kyle_Abbott87 about the club, the south west and the importance of Village and Club cricket throughout the country. Our pleasure to have played our part 🏏 @ClevedonCricket @DevonCricket @SomersetCCC
Lewdown Cricket Club are sad to pass on the news that our former President Frank Rolfe has passed away.
Frank was a stalwart supporter of the club over many decades and was a familiar, friendly face to everyone who ever frequented the Club. (thread)
He will be remembered as a quiet man who spoke with deep sincerity and will forever be held in the highest regard here at LCC.
Many will recall his deep knowledge of the game and his excitement at seeing the club develop, both as a fan and as long standing President.
Disappointing weekend just gone with 2 defeats but 2 great games!
Raring to get going again tomorrow 🫡
Talking of tomorrow…
Big game against fellow Promotion winners @CandKCC here at LCC 🏏
Bar will be manned all day, come down and join the fun ☀️

Hugely successful 2022 for the club, no better way to round off the year than with a few drinks and some lovely food 🍺 🍲

Another weekend, another clean sweep of W’s 😍
1’s continue their promotion charge with another win to make it 6 on the bounce, while the 2’s edge closer to the upper echelons with back to back wins 🫡
Congrats to young Matthew on his 53*, a first 50 in Adult Cricket 👏🏼
