I suppose being reviled is sort of just inherent to my type and its destiny... Is there such a thing as a collective that's friendly to the Individual before he has "won" or died? Is it a contradiction in terms?

Why is everyone anti-intellectual in the comment section? Questioning if it can be considered an orientation doesn’t mean that they’re endorsing pedophilia. It’s probably just a thought experiment of how definitions work

Propensity 4 idle contemplation isn't really a prerequisite for maintaining civilization at scale, but if everyone is just moving constantly jockeying for position and nobody stops to observe, evaluate, think, there is not really an immune response to societal cancers+illusions.

I’m sure a lot of you had to gradually rediscover masculinity on your own because your fathers’ attempts at socializing you always came attached to stupid shit like being good at sportsball or climbing trees or some other equally inane nonsense.

My only thought re: the NHJ essay is that we, as a culture and a country, have no idea what to do with the "bad kids." The "bad kids" who make classrooms impossible, who make teachers' lives hell, who cause problems pretty much from the jump.

The people who do this are not cunning people with a longterm plan for the world, they're completely unconscious of longterm goals and do not consider themselves to be subject to historical or political change, not unlike antiracism, their job is stomp and chant.
