My problem w this is 1. You don’t get to light a match and walk away from the flame. She was part of the problem. 2. If you’re going to speak on the problem, tell the WHOLE story, not just the half that serves your narrative. Otherwise, you’re not helping solve anything. You’re helping it grow Yes, I’ve seen fans of “this one person” (who we all know is Caitlin Clark) minimize the contributions and accomplishments of other players in this league. That deserves criticism. But I’ve ALSO seen Caitlin’s fanbase broadly labeled racist, called “coons,” and subjected to all kinds of vitriol for what amounts to perfectly normal basketball commentary about certain players Calling out one form of abuse while ignoring another isn’t accountability. It’s selective outrage.
