This is a previously unpublished photo of 9/11, taken at the base of the North Tower of the World Trade Center shortly before it collapsed. It was developed from a previously unknown rubble camera, which we investigate in our film, "32 Frames: A 9/11 Mystery".
The decision to fly this close removed all room for error and was an extremely risky maneuver. Yes they got away with it. This time.
Unnecessary and arrogant. There are no old bold pilots for a reason. But this also risked thousands of people.

Economic progress isn't just about earning more; it's about how much of your income is left over after covering the basics.
In 1929, Americans’ spending on food, clothing, housing, utilities, and household maintenance was equal to about 55 percent of disposable personal income.
By 2024, that share had fallen to 32 percent.
This is non-sensical. It’s PRIVATE property. They own it once they buy it. It’s worth it to them to do this to their private property.
If I buy something rare, do I need some permission to do what I want? If it’s so important buy them yourself and donate to a museum.
Private property rights are some of our most important rights. You don’t get to tell me what I do with my own stuff if it’s not directly harming you. These advocates just hate AI and are clutching their pearls about this without merit.
