This is especially concerning coming at a moment when we will need philosophers, artists and social workers more than ever. AI will challenge our our moral and ethical code, our social structures and our very humanity more than any tech in history. We should be encouraging those fields of study that prioritize societal benefit and are pro-human, even (especially?) if they are not valued by capital markets.
Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/NmmAzhf

Do not let anyone make you feel bad for being deeply affected by the passing of a wrestler, or any artist, you love. The sunset does not know we exist and yet, we would be devastated if it was blotted from existence and no one would question that grief.
Work lately has been a little tough with my coworker doing a good job making me feel like shit. She won’t always be in my life and eventually I won’t have to see her anymore as I go on to other things
I don’t really talk about my problems alot? Really, you should keep it personally with people you trust but, it’s been an overwhelming time which I think it is for alot of people now
But I just wanted to vent a little. I just try to keep on going and really, that’s what matters
I struggle with depression since my early childhood; I contemplated as early as 12 and went to a mental hospital at 16 and pretended it never happened out of shame
I remember not wanting to breathe when my mom passed 8 years ago cause it hurt so much waking up
Did self harming as well and just remember being in a really bad place mentally as my grandpa passed and my dad was in my hospital a few months later
I was just so angry at the world at that point as I wanted to fight people not caring if I got my ass whipped.
I always liked Maven and I’m glad his life has gotten so much better these past years with his YT channel
This really was inspiring to watch as a kid. It sucked what happened with the trophy but, he seems content and happy with everything now and really, that’s all that matters
