A GP under investigation after making anti-Israel social media posts is among those behind @TheGreenParty ‘Zionism is racism’ motion.
Rebecca Jones, elected as a councillor in May in Lewisham, is 1/745 ‘supporters’ of the policy, proposed by party member Lubna Speitan.
Jones - known as ‘The Vegan Doctor’ - is facing disciplinary proceedings over posts, including one saying, ‘Burn Zionism to the ground’, with an image of a burning Israeli flag.
The GP has also called Bob Vylan her ‘new favourite band’.
She described a reading of the supposed last will & testament of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, a chief architect of 10/7 as ‘so beautiful’.
The GMC, which she has told her nearly 20k followers is trying to ‘censor & silence doctors’, opened the fitness to practise investigation in June.

The BBC has been accused of “brainwashing” children after a Mail on Sunday investigation found that BBC Bitesize was promoting what it described as “extreme” left-wing views on migration, Net Zero and inequality to millions of pupils.
One online game, Increasing Immigration, rewards players for choosing “open borders” and granting an amnesty to illegal migrants. The site also labels concerns that migrants may take local jobs as “prejudiced” and highlights the economic benefits of migration.
Pupils are encouraged to campaign for controversial Net Zero policies and join human rights groups such as Amnesty International. The site also praises Black Lives Matter and left-wing activists such as Greta Thunberg.
These are deeply alarming revelations. They add to concerns about the BBC’s political impartiality, particularly following a series of scandals, including its editing of a speech by President Trump.

The Met Police are assessing a tweet by the wife of Andy Burnham's national security adviser last Thursday showing support for banned extremist group Palestine Action.
They are looking into whether Jonathan Powell's wife Sarah Helm had committed a crime by advocating the proscribed terror organisation.
In a major embarrassment to her husband, Helm wrote:
‘God help us authors who support Palestine & Palestine Action.'
It is an offence to publicly support the group & over 3,700 people have already been arrested for championing it since it was banned from operating in Britain last year.
