they didn’t hack ledger. they didn’t exploit the code. they BOUGHT the company selling you the device. $86 million gone
a company called CryptoBilis was an authorized ledger reseller in southeast asia. trusted. legit. sold ledgers for years
a random chinese company quietly bought CryptoBilis from its malaysian owner
made the original owner sign a confidentiality agreement. he couldn’t tell anyone the company was sold
same brand name. same website. same “authorized reseller” badge. but different people behind it now
the new owners started opening every ledger device before shipping
soldered a tiny spy chip onto the board inside. repackaged it. sealed the box. shipped it
the device looked normal. felt normal. worked normal
but the spy chip was silently capturing your private keys the moment you set it up
your seed phrase was sent to the attacker before you even finished writing it down
hundreds of wallets across ethereum tron and bitcoin. all drained
the guy who lost $5.3 million said “i did everything right. no leverage. no memecoins. i stored my funds on a hardware wallet like we’re all told to”
he was right. he did everything right
except his device had a parasite inside it that he couldn’t see
ledger has now told CryptoBilis to stop all sales. told recent buyers NOT to set up their devices
mark karpelès posted photos of the implant. normal board on top. spy chip below
the most dangerous attack in crypto this year wasn’t a line of code
it was a business acquisition
🚨 Pepe on Cristiano Ronaldo:
“I read Cristiano’s statement twice.
The first time as his friend.
The second time because apparently I had read a completely different statement from everybody else.
I saw some saying, ‘Look at his ego.’
So I went back.
Cristiano says, ‘I should not have left.’
He apologises to his teammates and Portugal.
Then he says, ‘Punish me.’
Not only that. He basically says, ‘I’m the captain. That makes my responsibility greater.’
I stopped there.
I thought, ‘This is the egomaniac everybody is talking about?’
I played with Cristiano for many years. When he thinks he is right, you will know.
I used to tell him, ‘Cris, you don’t have to win every argument.’
‘Why not?’
‘Because sometimes you’re annoying.’
‘But am I wrong?’
‘That’s not helping your case.’
That is Cristiano.
But there is something people misunderstand about him.
He can accept a decision he hates.
What he struggles to accept is feeling somebody wasn’t honest with him.
Those are different things.
He isn’t saying, ‘I must start because I am Cristiano Ronaldo.’
He is saying, ‘Tell me the truth.’
If his role has changed, tell him.
If you no longer need him, look him in the eyes and say it.
Cristiano literally says they could have told him they didn’t want him there and he would have accepted it.
That doesn’t sound like somebody demanding Portugal belongs to him.
It sounds like somebody asking Portugal not to lie to him.
I remember once telling him, ‘One day this shirt will continue without us.’
He looked at me.
‘Of course.’
‘You answered too quickly.’
He smiled.
‘Pepe, Portugal existed before us. But while I’m here, I want to win.’
That is the Cristiano I know.
Everybody is talking about farewell matches.
Cristiano is talking about competing.
He doesn’t want Portugal to put flowers around him, give him seventy minutes, substitute him so the stadium can stand up and then send him home.
He believes if he comes, he can still help Portugal win.
And if Portugal believes otherwise?
Tell him.
That is the whole argument.
People say leaving camp was wrong.
Cristiano himself said leaving camp was wrong.
He didn’t say, ‘I am Cristiano Ronaldo, therefore there should be no consequences.’
He said the opposite.
‘Punish me. I am captain. My responsibility is greater.’
You cannot demand accountability from somebody and then ignore it when he holds himself accountable because you preferred the version where he was simply the villain.
There was another part that stayed with me.
He spoke about learning his father had died while he was with Portugal and choosing to remain until the next match was finished.
So when a man reaches into one of the most painful moments of his life to explain what representing Portugal means to him, maybe listen before telling him he doesn’t care about the national team.
You can disagree with Cristiano.
I have.
You can tell him he handled something badly.
I have done that too.
But don’t rewrite twenty years because you’re angry about one week.
If I were sitting beside him now, I’d probably say, ‘You created a beautiful mess, brother.’
‘I told the truth.’
‘I know.’
‘So what is the problem?’
‘You somehow need two thousand words to tell the truth.’
He’d probably tell me to shut up.
Then I’d tell him the serious part.
‘You apologised. You accepted the consequences. Now stop explaining.’
Serve whatever punishment comes.
Go back to Al Nassr. Train. Score goals.
And if Portugal calls again, decide whether you still believe you can help them win.
Because after everything Cristiano has given Portugal, I refuse to reduce his relationship with that shirt to one argument with one coach.
He was there before Jorge Jesus.
He will be part of Portugal’s history long after Jorge Jesus.
And one day Cristiano will leave too.
But when that day comes, let it be because the football is finished.
Not because honesty was.”

Women want dominant men - natural attraction.
Men want submissive women - misogynist.

Men set boundaries - controlling narcissist.
Women have standards and society applauds.
Men have standards and suddenly society needs a f*cking emergency meeting.
Apparently "everyone is allowed preferences" means everyone except men.
Can’t even defend that performance.
I don’t understand when United players started thinking they can just turn up and it’s a guaranteed win!? Embarrassing 😒

I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of younger GenXers and older Millennials.
If you see someone in their 40s or 50s who seems a little boring now, I need you to understand something...
We already got it in.
Like...GOT. IT. IN.
We are not sitting home on a Friday night because we never knew how to have fun.
We are sitting home on a Friday night because we have seen enough.
We went to parties in houses that should have been condemned and were almost certainly owned by the local drug dealer.
We saw police lights and RAN and not across a nice, flat field.
INTO THE WOODS.
Do you understand the athleticism required to hurdle uprooted tree roots in platform shoes while simultaneously trying to keep your low-rise jeans from sliding completely off your ass?
And somehow...we never spilled the Zima. We never spilled the Boone’s Farm.
That was TALENT.
We slept on floors in strange houses because the designated driver either never showed up or, in a shocking turn of events, was drunker than everybody else.
There was no Uber, Life360 or Find My Friends.
There was just somebody named Mike saying, “I know a shortcut.”
And we FOLLOWED MIKE.
We closed down bars and then decided the night was still young, so we drove to Atlantic City, where we somehow managed to get drunk, sober up, get drunk again, sober up again and then get drunk a THIRD TIME before breakfast.
And according to our parents? We were at Michelle’s house.
Eating pizza and watching movies.
Michelle’s mother unknowingly covered for approximately 17 people every weekend. If there even was a Michelle.
We drank things called Purple Passion, Mad Dog 20/20 and whatever somebody mixed inside a giant plastic garbage can. Nobody asked what was in it. You grabbed a red Solo cup and trusted the process.
We went to clubs until the lights came on. Do you know the psychological damage of seeing a nightclub with the LIGHTS ON? Nothing good happens after those lights come on.
We danced for four straight hours in shoes that permanently altered the structure of our feet.
We made entire plans without cell phones...no texts, dropped pins or group chats...just an extremely questionable sense of direction.
We rode in cars with 11 people when the vehicle legally seated five. Someone was always sitting on someone. Someone was always in the hatchback.
And there was always one friend yelling, “DUCK!” when we passed a cop.
So yes...now we like being home.
We like sweatpants.
We like cancelling plans.
We like saying, “That sounds fun!” with absolutely no intention of attending.
We like restaurants at 5:30 because we can get a good table.
We like being home by 8:17.
And if someone texts at 9:30 PM and says, “What are you doing?”
Sleeping...we are sleeping.
Because this is not boring my friends...this is retirement.
We already played, partied and danced on the bar.
We already ran from the cops through a wooded area dressed like a Spice Girl.
We have stories that cannot be posted because there are still people with careers, marriages and reputations to protect. And thank GOD there were no camera phones.
So kids, when you look at your Gen X and older Millennial parents sitting peacefully on the couch watching Dateline at 8 PM and think:
“God, you guys are boring.”
Sweetheart...oh sweetheart.
You are looking at retired legends.
Put some respect on our names. We're probably the reason Life360 was invented.
xoxoxo (posted from someone else on FakeBook) 🤣 #genx #oldandtired

I can explain this a million times to the same person and some people are still never going to get it.
$XRP isn’t a stock.
It isn’t Bitcoin.
It’s the native asset of the $XRP Ledger, built to move value. Payments, settlement, liquidity, exchange, actual use.
You can’t just sit there staring at the price and expect to understand it.
Use it. Build with it. Accept it. Spend it. Move value with it. Accumulate it if that fits your plan. That’s when $XRP starts making sense.
I build on the ledger every day for a reason. $XRP was made to do something. Not just sit there and wait for a number.
Think about fiat for a second. You don’t buy dollars and sit there waiting for the dollar to moon. You use dollars. You get paid in them. You spend them. You save them. You move them. Businesses accept them. Entire economies run on them.
$XRP is different technology, but the basic idea is easy to understand.
It has to move.
It has to be used.
It has to be part of actual transactions and actual utility.
The more we actually use $XRP, the more economic activity we create around it. More payments. More transactions. More businesses accepting it. More liquidity. More volume. More reasons for people and systems to actually need it.
Volume by itself doesn’t magically make the price go up. But real usage can create real demand. When demand for $XRP increases relative to the amount available to satisfy that demand, that’s where price pressure comes from.
So if you want $XRP to become more valuable, quit thinking the entire game is buying a bag and waiting.
Build with it. Accept it. Transact with it. Create businesses around it. Give people reasons to need it.
If all you ever do is stare at a chart and wait for somebody to tell you when $XRP hits some magic number, you still don’t understand what you own.
You can argue with me and question my credentials all you want. You can tell yourself I’m wrong because you don’t like how I say it. You just can’t fix stupid. Facts don’t change because they hurt your feelings, and they sure as fuck don’t change because you don’t want to believe them.
This is a bald faced lie 🤥
Accounts wouldn’t be getting put in time outs/suspended if they encouraged freedom of speech 🎤

🚨 Marcus Rashford on why he chose the No. 14 shirt:
“When I came back, some assumed I’d be thinking about shirt numberz. Honestly… I wasn’t. I told the club, ‘Give me whatever number you want. I just want to play football again.’
Then Jesse called. He asked,,‘What number are you taking?’ I said, ‘I don’t know yet.’ He replied… ‘Bro… don’t tell me you’ve forgotten my shirt already.’ I asked, ‘Fourteen?’
He said, ‘Remember when we were kids? We always spoke about keeping United where it belongs. I couldn’t finish that story… maybe you still can.’ I just went quiet. Then he said one last thing.
‘If you boys win the league….. just turn around during the celebrations and let me see that No. 14 one more time.’ I smiled. From that moment, I didn’t need to think about another shirt number”
