People don't know much about me. I generally just talk smack up here and move on with my day. But... As someone who's been in the trade skills for 30 years, (I'm 38, my father and grandfather were roofers and I've been invested from birth)... Starting in roofing, found my way into residential painting and handyman work, and now into very mediocre to woodworking...... I just wanted to share this project we've been a part of for the past month. Super proud of it and everyone involved, either passerby or those who requested have gave nothing but praise. Hopefully it gives anyone else in this business the good to keep pushing. This isn't an easy job, and we deserve a little praise every so often as well.

We needed my granddaughters birth certificate yesterday but her mom didn't have a copy.
She's 2 BTW...
I called the County Clerk and asked if my wife could come get it and they said absolutely!!
So my wife drove to City Hall, filled out a 1 page form, paid $23 and left 30 minutes later with it in hand.
These people telling you they can't get their birth certificates are either the stupidest fucking people this country has ever seen
Or they're lying because it fits their narrative!!

Sen. John Kennedy is **not** opposing the SAVE Act—he’s one of its strongest supporters. He’s a cosponsor, has repeatedly said on the Senate floor that he supports it “unconditionally,” and in April pushed hard to attach core provisions (proof of citizenship to vote, voter ID, single Election Day) to a reconciliation bill. His amendment lost 48-50.
The claims he’s blocking it behind the scenes don’t match his record.
