The Peterborough Chronicle is one of the few records mentioning Hereward the Wake, "a man who gave William the Bastard quite a few sleepless nights" in 1070-71.

Who was Hereward the Wake?
Can we untangle the history from the myth?

If I was Prime Minister , if I was Burnham , watching European cities ablaze . . . I’d instigate a ‘wealth tax’ at about 9.01am tomorrow morning . Just saying . Or should we just ‘eat cake’ ?

Chuffed beyond words to have this about my new book The Fall of the West from Annie Lennox.
She’s such an icon who has been so courageous speaking out about Israel's genocide.

Man with stubble, "Small boats arrivals are 37,000. There are over 4 million kids in child poverty. And 4.5 million who can't get a dentist appointment" #BBCQT
"We spend 90% of the media discourse on the 37,000. How much more could we achieve if we put that effort into the 4.5 million?"
Well said that man 👏
