Harry is supporting our local businesses in #Spelthorne. Visiting @thamessidebrew in Staines on Thursday Evening, Harry said "Thank you to Andy, Michele, and the entire Thames Side Brewery team for a wonderful evening. It was great to have the opportunity to learn more about the challenges that our local businesses face. Local businesses are the lifeline of our town centres, employing our neighbours, contributing to local taxes, and reinvesting in order to create a cycle that benefits everyone and should be supported. Our town centres require variety, and support for our distinctive local businesses is critical to ensuring that they continue to serve as a focal point for people to connect, have fun, and socialise. Furthermore, if I am successful in the GE, I plan to work with authorities to help address the rise of antisocial behaviour in our town centres. As a local business owner myself, I understand how difficult it is to get started and stay afloat. We would never have got our business off the ground if it were not for the kindness of Christ Church Staines, who had been so kind to us. Three years later, we are still going strong. More support from local government and the community is required to assist Spelthorne's next generation of entrepreneurs. If you haven't been to the Thames Side Brewery , I strongly advise you to do.
