Funny how life humbles you….one day you look down on district court lawyers, the next you’re counting on one of them to bail you out!!

I still remember the Charlie Hebdo attack sometime in 2015.
This was unfortunately imminent
Just look at the statistics of people who have taken refuge/asylum in France in the last couple of decades

Where are you? The only time you were seen at the protest was when you were mutedly sitting next to Abhijeet Dipke at JM1.0. You were completely AWOL after that. The protests and the protesters need better than keyboard warriors.
People have shown up despite what appears to be every effort by the Delhi Police and the Modi government to keep @abhijeet_dipke away.
The SEM court has today also delayed the release process for @SauravDassss and @AshutoshRanka, despite all necessary legal formalities been done.
The process is being used to target CJP leadership and other student leaders.
They fear people coming together. They fear people raising their voices. They fear people standing together with the Tiranga. 🇮🇳

Ramleela Maidan is 4 KMs from Parliament. That too is a designated place. What makes you love Burari so much that you forgot Ramleela Ground?
Defence Colony is also nearby. Hardly 6 kms…

Jantar Mantar denotified as designated protest site.
Ramlila Maidan, Burari Ground and CBD Ground are the new designated protest sites.

Lawyers are trained to challenge government overreach inside the courtroom using facts, logic and the constitution, not through protests on the street. When lawyers trade legal arguments for street demonstrations, they give up their standing as officers of the court and choose to be treated like any other group of protesters.

Finally! The BJP did after 12 years what I voted for them to do on day 1. Hopefully we don’t have to endure more dirty Shaheen Bugs & Feudal Farm Landlords’ disruptions anymore.

Haha in uniform for protest🤣
BCI rules state that “an advocate shall not wear bands or gown in public places other than in courts except on such ceremonial occasions, and at such places as the Bar Council or the Court may prescribe.”

Koi bhi shaukh paal lena, lekin plants aur gardening ka shaukh mat paalna! It takes way too much time and effort, and it really pains to see even one leaf turning dry. 😭
My areca palms are currently giving me a hard time. Plant parents please tell me how to make it fuller? 🌿🥲

When Supreme Court turns into a place for ‘comedy’.
Surprisingly both @LegalPandey and I are visible in this recording 🙈🤣
WHEN THE COURTROOM SPEAKS BEYOND LAW
When CJI Surya Kant reportedly told Rajpal Yadav, “Koi nayi movie banao,” the moment instantly travelled beyond the courtroom.
But beneath the humour lies a harder truth: a court case may involve a celebrity, but justice cannot become celebrity theatre.
The Bench may speak lightly.
The law must still speak precisely.
A courtroom can smile—but its final language must always be law, reason and due process.
Because in a constitutional court, personality may create the headline; principle must decide the case.

🚨URGENT NEWS🚨
The government is planning on arresting me, Abhijeet, Ashutosh, Ratna and other Cockroach Janta Party leaders.
If the government thinks that such dictatorial actions will work, then they are mistakened! The young generation has awakened. We appeal to everyone to continue fighting for our rights and future, with or without us. We have always been ready to face the jail or worse. But this will be a big mistake. The young will not tolerate this.
The protests must continue. People of India should ensure the biggest mobilisation starting October 10th.

Usually, I’m delighted to visit Miniso every once in a while. Their DLF Noida outlet had been under renovation for quite some time, so I finally went in today, only to realise I’ve apparently grown old. None of those cute things tempted me enough to buy them. Sad realisation. :(

Interestingly while allowing this SLP (filed by me), after dictating the order, the judges orally remarked - “ask your client to not to get into romantic adventures”
While hearing a bail plea or even in a criminal trial, the personal views or value judgment of the presiding judge on morality must be avoided, observed the Supreme Court.
