@blakeryan86 is going back to the “scene of the crime” with Saturday’s impressive @newcastleraces_ winner Just Awesome.
Living up to his name, the well supported $2.30fav didn’t give his rivals a look-in, bolting home by more than 3l in the 900m Prov BM64.
The @hawkesburyrc trainer took advantage of Hawkesbury apprentice Leeshelle Small’s 3kg provincial claim to lessen Just Awesome’s impost to 58kg – & it provided a decisive result.
The Written Tycoon 4yo was simply too fast, and defeated $101 rank outsider Bethsheba & last December’s Randwick winner Where’s The Circus ($15) 👇provincialracingnsw.com.au/p…

WHEN you’re stuck naming a horse, go back to basics!
That’s what @gosford_races trainer Greg McFarlane did with an Adelaide purchase he had made – & topped it off when the now 3yo made a winning debut at @newcastleraces_ Saturday.
McFarlane paid $50k to buy the daughter of Alabama Express as a yearling at the 2024 @MagicMillions sale.
“We put in quite a few names for the filly, but they were all knocked back,” McFarlane said 👇provincialracingnsw.com.au/p…
