James Blunt defends young people who don’t want to join the Army and blasts politicians for dividing us James Blunt was on LBC with Nick Ferrari talking about his time in the Army, he said he completely understands why young people today don’t want to join up or fight for the country. He also called out today’s politicians for dividing us: “Politicians try to divide us so extremely nowadays” forcing everyone to pick a side on left or right, Leave or Remain, and every other manufactured extreme. He’s right to call it out. This is classic divide and conquer. Modern politicians deliberately split us by race, religion, sex, gender, class, and culture wars so we’re too busy fighting each other to notice them fleecing us, taxing us into the ground, and keeping ordinary people struggling while they look after their own. If we actually stopped fighting each other and turned on those in power, they wouldn’t stand a chance. They’d have no choice but to start serving the public instead of themselves. But while we’re all distracted tearing each other apart, they get away with it, which is exactly why they keep doing it.
