How far we've fallen that the reaction to a President of the United States straight up bribing voters is "Well, he probably won't pay it" instead of "Holy shit, a President of the United States is straight up bribing voters!"

If a foreign adversary snuck into our Federal budget and cut Education and Science Research the way we’re cutting it ourselves — strategically undermining America’s long-term health, wealth, and security — we would likely consider it an act of war.

Now that Trump has shut down the government, Democrats need to be loud and confident in our argument.
No 75% premium increases. No lawlessness.
That’s what we are fighting for. The people will be with us. But only if we show strength.
It's always great to hear @jessmendoza on a @Dodger game! She and Joe Davis are a great combination.
Great to see Jessica Mendoza on the last homestand of the @Dodgers. She brings a sense of fun and enthusiasm, and brings out a side of the always excellent @Joe_Davis that makes the game even more enjoyable. Let's go, Dodgers!⚾️
Really good to hear @jessmendoza on more @Dodgers broadcasts. She knows her stuff, has a point of view, and continues the Dodgers (and Vin Scully) tradition of humanizing the game with incites about the players and teams as well as the numbers told as stories.
She works well with both @Joe_Davis and @StephenNelson, and complements Stephen well, who's a good pbp guy, but still working on humanizing the calls.
Glad to see @jessmendoza on the @Dodgers broadcast tonight. Even more glad to see @FreddieFreeman5 back following the positive news. We're all pulling for Max and sending prayers. #MaxStrong
Disappointing to see so much misogyny this week on here (more than usual, I mean. Which is saying something).

Sam would have appreciated this so much. Thanks to the @Dodgers for this.
I'm behind with "On with @karaswisher." The interview with Ava DuVernay screamed for a post interview discussion. Would've added a unique spin to the episode.
Missing @nayeema on On with @karaswisher. She added a different dynamic and added to my understanding of the interview and background info.

Wow
Quick stat as Geno Auriemma hits 1,200 wins with @UConnWBB … When he won his 200th game on Jan. 2, 1995, his record was 200-81. Since his record is 1,000-79. 🐐
So I'm listening to Christmas music today, and I realize for the first time that the Beach Boys' "Little St. Nick" is l Santa's souped-up sleigh, not Santa! Better late than never!
This isn't a #Christmas album, but I wanted to highlight it because @sofiatalvik is a gifted artist writing and performing songs with a strong point of view, which is rare these days, especially in folk, apparently. And she's up for A GRAMMY!

You would think the national team at @espn would have top notch production of baseball, with the important shots and camera angles. But the local @SportsNetLA, owned by my CABLE COMPANY, that is frustrating me in every other way, is light years ahead.
