Speaking only to Adam Carolla & Dr. Drew vs. The Hotel from Hell conundrum: did it ever occur to you two fellas that perhaps the designers of such monstrosities are escape room aficionados? Those people are the worst in ergonomic empathy.

AOC you later. This is how it ends for you. And you were the one that lifted the finger.

The internet tells me strange things: Feral Historian should oversee the National Archives if not the entire university system, whilst Justin Taylor should be close to the top at the Pentagon. Just what in the hell is going on here? Two Bit da Vinci, what’s your take on all this?

In somewhat modern parlance, but wait, there’s more: The Art of Storytelling, The Second Story, Ocean Liner Designs, RazörFist – the list goes on. These seem to be earnest enough people with a true passion and understanding of what they speak despite being immersed in this shitpit of the latest corrupting technology. I’m looking at you, television. They’re generally factual, thus I learn little from them beyond that I simply find it all quite mesmerizing – like the morning sun evidencing that though yesterday has long gone, today I could die peacefully if only to do so with this particular brand of hope in my heart. One grows tired of the constant unraveling of a once cherished civilization. Sometimes a fella just needs to rest his eyes. Well, that’s what I tell the chicks at the bar when my vacant stare creeps them out. Take that as you will.

Bob Ross was antithetical to the gut reaction of any wild creature in a hostile environment. And thus, Bob Ross created a special space for himself whilst inviting others to experience the better half of this intersection of humanity and its technology, a product that only the likes of Western civilization could afford. I wouldn’t be surprised if the critters in his back yard found themselves growing quite fond of the smell of linseed oil. Leading from behind, indeed.

What if those predicting a mass loss of jobs by 2030 are the ones losing their jobs by 2030? I see some real incentive there. Might explain a few things. As well, I might be a Luddite in all of this.

There is no such thing as sustainability. There is only the ability to tinker with the second law of thermodynamics for as long as is humanly possible. For those dreaming of sustainability in the face of an ever-dying universe, perhaps go back to first principles.

Adam Corolla; please let me know if I've missed anything. Elon Musk, your FSD better know this shit whilst sharing the road with us ugly bags of mostly water. Not sure how this translates into an AI token weighting strategy. The Driving Dictionary American Autobahn: Any multiple lane divided highway in the United States where a police cruiser is not present in a conspicuous manner. Baby Duck: A driver who believes that the Two Second Rule pertains to how long a dropped morsel of food can lie on the floor of the automobile before it becomes inedible. Baby ducks are very insecure and thus feel compelled to stay as close to one another and their adopted mother as possible. Butt Crack: That thin void between the top of the car door window and the window frame from which the driver poops out lit cigarette butts. This ensures that the temperature and smoky thickness of the air within is maintained at a consistent level. Some of us know where our ashtrays are located, and we use them. Oddly enough, this sounds like bragging. Cell Phone Dwaddle: The slow and uneven manner in which a vehicle accelerates from a stop due to the driver being distracted by a very important phone conversation. A sure way to bring their focus back to the road is to attempt to pass them, at which point there is absolutely no limit to how quickly they can accelerate to ridiculous speeds. Confirmation Signal: A signaling mechanism built into an automobile that allows the driver to let others know that the previous maneuver was indeed intentional. Cradle Rocker: Someone who believes that by repeatedly inching forward at a red light, the magnetic anomaly detector will pick up on their impatience and convince the traffic signal to change itself in their favor. When it finally does so at it's own damn leisure, said drivers are the last to know because they have rocked themselves to sleep. Dust Buster: An ingenious driver who has discovered that dirt, gravel and debris will always accumulate along the edges of the road, thus making it possible to simultaneously navigate and read their phone by gauging the noise coming from the wheel wells. Of course, this only works for the right hand side unless it's a multiple lane divided highway, with a wide median to be sure. Entrance Ramp: The place where all interstate trouble begins. A common configuration here is a line of ten or more cars where the first is driven by a person who does not feel any urgency whatsoever (see Virgin Merger). The remaining drivers attempt to improve this situation by assuming the role of Baby Ducks, and those already on the interstate will as well tighten up their formation to ensure that the coming merge is as unpleasant as possible for all involved. Field of Dreams: An empty parking lot. Those stalls designated with a wheelchair symbol are for physically impaired drivers. Those remaining are reserved for the mentally impaired, who due to their condition may forget which is which from time to time. Grey Area: The chasm that exists between what the driver manual says should happen and what really goes down. Passing a driving test consists mostly of refraining from doing what you know you will have to do in the real world. What is really being tested here is the ability to tell the difference without it being too obvious that there is one. Hell on Wheels: Someone who drives like they're already a week late for an appointment, and must now exceed the speed of light in order to travel back in time. That you have survived birth long enough to now become an impediment to their progress is just about the last straw. This is explained by the general theory of relativity, where from their point of view, every vehicle they will ever encounter just pulled right out the fuck in front of them. Interchange Slide: An essential maneuver where the exit you require is less than a quarter of a mile from the interchange, and you are to the far left facing an ocean of lanes without end. If Baby Ducks are present and a police cruiser is not, then hang on to your ass because this is not going to be easy. Jumping Jack Flash: A driver who could start at the end of a typical two car driveway and swap sides eight times at sixty miles per hour before finally crashing into the garage door, all the while following each move with a Confirmation Signal. Give them a multiple lane divided highway and the possibilities become endless. Karma Helper: After miles of harassment from a driver who thinks that fifteen miles per hour over the posted speed limit is just not enough, you spot a golden opportunity and slip into the right lane behind a semi that just so happens to block the view of the on-ramp where it begins to merge with the interstate. This now elated jerk steps on the gas and rockets past you, the semi and the now visible police cruiser as it rolls onto the highway. Betty Crocker, eat your heart out. Lost Causeway: The path to becoming a better driver. No matter how prudent, courteous, proactive and alert you are, they can always rear end you at full speed and shove your self-congratulating chassis right into the flaming pileup that you thought you had narrowly avoided. Magic Glass: The substance that comprises automobile windows which, unlike regular glass, allows the occupant to believe that even though they can see out, no one outside can see in. As a public service it is my duty to now step out of form and remind these folks that yes, we can see you. Please stop doing that. Or at least tint that shit. Mother Duck: A driver who understands that the Two Second Rule has absolutely nothing to do with how long a dropped morsel of food can lie on the floor of the automobile before it becomes inedible. Note that this is predicated upon the fact that one can only be a mother if one is unfortunate enough to have those pesky babies swarming about. Move Indicator: Basically the entire portion of the automobile that extends beyond the front wheels. This is positioned as close as humanly possible to the rear of the car that you would like to get out of your way. Generally only effective on multiple lane divided highways with the notable exception of Texas. Muzzle Control: The practiced ability to refrain from serving up a heaping helping of full contact Move Indicator smothered in Baby Duck sauce. Now and Later: A driver who must, must, MUST pull out from a side road right now, leaving you with no recourse but to brake hard. Once firmly entrenched in your path they will then proceed in a manner similar to that of the Cell Phone Dwaddle because they are now unsure of which street they are looking for. Don't be fooled when they slow down and begin a turn. Wait for their Confirmation Signal. Ordinal value: Task consideration in order of importance. With no distractions, driving is the primary focus. If one is conversing on the phone or with a passenger then this driving thing becomes secondary. Throw in the application of makeup and driving gets bumped to tertiary, and so on. The human capacity for optimism in this regard is boundless. Don't expect good things. PTSD (Post Traffic Supercession Disorder): A common condition where one forgets that one is not driving and should now be courteous to others. Even if the bank teller points at you and loudly announces that you're next, the unfortunate PTSD sufferer will dash to the head of the line and blurt out, "serve me or die!". If at this point you feel compelled to honk your horn, then you may have it too. Quack: The sound emitted by a Baby Duck when it is displeased with the driving of others. Note that Baby Ducks are almost always annoyed about something, and even when they are not they will quack just to say hello, so remember not to take it personally. Sometimes referred to as a "honk" by those who cannot tell the difference between a duck and a goose. Road Rage: A teaching tool similar to 'hooked on phonics', in that it is an attempt to correct the mistakes of others by showing them how it should never be done. Due to the barriers presented by being in separate vehicles, the communication method falls within the range of stage acting with its exaggerated expressions and sweeping gestures. Digital communication may also come into play. Note that the more dedicated teacher may follow you home for private tutoring, ignoring the fact that some students carry more than a registration and proof of insurance in their glove compartment. Sheep Leap: When a Baby Duck becomes impatient with the Mother Duck's reluctance to employ the Move Indicator, they will zip around and occupy the enormous space in front of the Mother Duck, who must then back off to readjust for the now shortened Two Second Rule. Even though it is obvious that no real gain results from this maneuver, the remaining Baby Ducks will soon follow suit due to their extreme insecurity. Not to worry though, as they will soon find another unfortunate mother. Speed Limit: A hard limit or suggested minimum depending upon circumstances. For highway driving, the posted minimum is an absolute hard limit, while the higher number is a suggested minimum with no police presence (see American Autobahn). Otherwise, the higher number minus five becomes an absolute hard maximum. Two Second Rule: The minimum time that it should take for your automobile to rear-end the car in front of you should it suddenly stop while you're busy attempting to retrieve a dropped morsel of food from the floor before it becomes inedible. Unparalleled Parking: Similar to parallel parking in that it involves attempting to plunk your automobile into a tight space between two others, but is much easier since all vehicles involved are traveling in excess of fifty miles per hour. The downside here is that once parked, one must pay closer attention to the parking spot than one would with a stationary vehicle. Virgin Merger: Someone who has used an interstate on-ramp hundreds of times, with each being just like the first. They know that attempting to merge with traffic at two thirds the minimum speed limit is a grand idea. Once they don't spot you, they will happily ignore any vacant part of the road and aim directly for you. And they will accomplish this amazing feat without ever looking. Wave Function: A complex quantum mechanical equation that explains the why of the way in which interstate traffic will inexplicably slow to a crawl for several miles for no apparent reason. The problem here is that the function result appears as a particle/wave duality that when viewed from a distance through two squinted eyes will still resolve into the shape of a human being behind the wheel. X-ray Vision: What you must have when you arrive at an all-way stop at the same time as a vehicle with tinted windows. Prudence dictates that you concede the right of way and wave them through, but they won't see this as they will be busy waving you through while growing impatient with your inability to spot the obvious. A sure way to break the stalemate is to proceed through the intersection, which will signal the other driver that the race is now on. Yellow Light: The light that emanates from a traffic signal to indicate that time is running out for you to get your free T-bone dinner. Remember that if you are buckled in and your car has an air bag, then it is much better to give than to receive, in which case you should hold out for the red light. Zero Tolerance: The inability to directly measure stupidity with a breathalyzer, thus leading to the need for a scapegoat that can be arbitrarily gauged. Point zero eight may be just fine for all of those out of shape weekend warriors, but for those of us who practice hard every day, this works out to be something of an insult. Good law enforcement knows that if it focuses upon the bad drivers then it will pretty much clean up on the drunk ones too. Bad law enforcement knows that good law enforcement is not a cheap date, and so prefers those sweaty date rape traffic checkpoints instead.

Here’s a fun one. Somebody recognizes the dangers of AI assisted genetic manipulation to create novel viruses to fundamentally change societal behaviors. Think of the tick-borne virus that causes severe allergies to consumption of red meat. Said individual decides to create a virus that eliminates anyone considering creating a virus that would do such a thing. How? Target vitamin B12 deficient physiologies. And make sure you get there first.

It’s all good. The suffering was always meant to be. Imagine you are God. Yesterday never was. Tomorrow will never be. There is only the here and everlasting now. Cold. As thin as a pin. Quite the throne, yes? The Angels were the first foray. Lucifer provided the thickness as God let there be light. And here we are, experiencing precious time. And God is no longer alone. A friend in need, indeed. Thoughts?

May Sophie's choice be the nexus of a preference cascade within the WNBA. Not that I would ever watch hyper-thyroid chicks bouncing a ball whilst running about an empty car park. But any Caitlin not sporting a wanker these days is something to behold.

Mr. Zukerberg should shake hands with Mr. Musk and his Nero link. If blind folks can see via eyeglasses then everyone could be seeing the future to be sure.

You focused your attention upon an unfortunate ant under your newly acquired magnifying glass in the summer sun. If that was recently, you’re likely a child. Otherwise, you’re a bureaucrat. But then, I hear Harmeet Dhillon knits. That shit’s always tediously going nowhere, until it’s not. You smell burning anthill, or is that just me?

Let's say you focused your attention upon an unfortunate ant under your newly acquired magnifying glass in the glorious summer sun. If that was recently, you’re likely a child. Otherwise, you’re a bureaucrat. Now tell me; what part is the best part?

The Euro-weenies had me at metric simply because metric is the slickest way to determine where one should go next, and in what increment. But the size of the asteroid I can only imagine in feet, yards or miles, because conversion from meters requires math, not Goddamned “maths”. Welcome to the only country that could manage to use all these differences in one coordinated effort to get to the moon, and yet still occasionally fart in your general direction due to some miscalculation. We aim to please, after all.
