.@Azeem_Amir99 is an England blind football star who scored a last-gasp winner to clinch the 2025 IBSA Nations Cup in India last October – the team’s first piece of major silverware.
He's more than a footballer though, running a social enterprise that challenges society’s perceptions of disability.
Azeem delivered a truly inspirational closing keynote on Day One of TGG Live 2025 at Old Trafford last October.
Was so good that we wanted to share it more widely.

Three of our #PLPrimaryStars partner schools had the pleasure of working with England Visually Impaired footballer Azeem Amir in a workshop at the Accu Stadium for International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Azeem led a session where our visitors had to complete a series of tasks whilst having their senses restricted to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those with disabilities.
