Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site. In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Still silent? ‘Isn’t it awful’ isn’t enough. Silence is complicity.

She was only four when Trump said he would end the war in 24 hours. Just turned six when Musk decided to join Trump on Putin’s side and help the Kremlin killers murder her
At the funeral of one of the Ukrainian kids murdered by Russians this week, while the U.S. hobbled the country's defenses. Elizaveta Sorochyshyna, age 6. Relatives and friends left stuffed toys near her coffin. Elizaveta was one of three children among the 23 people killed by russians that day.

A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed in a car park at Manchester's Arndale Centre shopping mall. Manchester has a far higher crime rate than Glasgow. Why is the city where Andy Burnham was mayor being presented as safer than Scotland's largest city? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6z9…

🚨 🎙️ Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Ryan Gravenberch RED CARD 🗣️ Chris Kavanagh should be stopped from officiating match . He literally killed the game. That was never a card offense. That wasn't necessary but he picked the side he wanted to win Premier League officiating has been horrendous and full of controversies.” #LIVMCI
🚨 Jamie Carragher on Ryan Gravenberch RED CARD after he brought down Jeremy Doku 🗣️ Chris Kavanagh should be ashamed of himself. That wasn't necessary but he picked the side he wanted to win with that one. It's a shame that every season he will have a game full of controversies. Iraola on the other hand should have known what to do as a coach Conceding two goals in three minutes from Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku in three minutes is ridiculous. I expected him to make a little adjustment and probably try earn a point at the Anfield. I'm quite disappointed with the way the game has turned with a blink of an eye. #LIVMCI

Replying to @JimAllister
Jim Allister lecturing Catholic residents about law and order while using the deeply troubling language of “sanitising” Garvaghy Road. Jim is a perfect example of an individual who loves to pontificate about catholics, the IRA and SF on the daily, quoting law and order. Jim, you forget, everyone has a past Let’s remember some of Jim’s past, this photograph from 1984. Allister alongside Peter Robinson and William McCrea in Israel. Just two years later, while Jim was still in the DUP, senior DUP figures helped establish Ulster Resistance. In November 1986, Jim organised the rally inaugurating Ulster Resistance’s Ballymena battalion. He marched alongside Peter Robinson and Alan Wright, leading loyalists, men were masked and wearing paramilitary-style uniforms, to Ballymena Town Hall, where Ian Paisley appeared wearing an Ulster Resistance beret. Jim publicly pledged his personal support to the organisation In 1987, that organisation was involved in importing South African weapons that ended up with the UVF and UDA. As journalist Amanda Ferguson brilliantly documented in The Irish Times in 2019, VZ58 rifles from that shipment were used to murder at least 70 people, including victims of the Sean Graham bookmakers, Greysteel and Loughinisland massacres. Google Amanda Fergusons piece in the Irish times. These are not allegations invented by political opponents. They are documented historical events. Nobody is accusing Jim of personally of importing weapons. But he was associated with a political party whose senior leadership, Including him helped establish Ulster Resistance, which in turn was the biggest haul of weapons loyalist ever had. Given that history, perhaps Jim might explain his understanding of law, order and accountability before demanding that Catholic residents be removed from Garvaghy Road. Catholics are equal citizens, Jim. They have the right to object to an unwanted parade, to have their concerns heard and to live without intimidation. The days when unionist politicians “with pasts” could simply disregard Catholic communities are over, And they are not something to be “sanitised” away.

🚨🎙️ Roy Keane on Ryan Gravenberch’s Red Card Against Manchester City; 🗣️"Listen, I’m sitting here absolutely flabbergasted by what I’ve just witnessed. We are talking about Liverpool versus Manchester City at Anfield. This isn't a pre-season kick-around, this isn't a mid-table dead-rubber—this is as big as it gets in world football. You’ve got millions watching around the globe, two top-class teams going toe-to-toe, and the entire match gets ruined because the officials want to be the main event. Look at the match context! Ryan Gravenberch was having one of his absolute best games in a Liverpool shirt. He’s driving through the midfield, he’s testing Gianluigi Donnarumma with a cracking strike from range, and then literally seconds later, he makes a recovery challenge in the City half on Jérémy Doku. Was it a foul? Yeah, fine, give a free-kick. But to whip out a second yellow card in the 62nd minute for that? It is an absolute disgrace. The first yellow card early in the second half was soft enough as it was, but to issue a second yellow—effectively killing the entire spectacle—requires a level of common sense and match management that these referees simply don't possess right now. Where is the game management? Where is the understanding of what is at stake? Referee Chris Kavanagh couldn't wait to get his card out. It’s refereeing by a textbook without having a single clue about the emotion, intensity, or context of a massive Premier League fixture. You treat a big game like a big game! You let the players fight it out on the pitch. You don't send a lad off for a minor collision on the halfway line when neither tackle warranted a sending off. And what happens? The moment Liverpool go down to ten men, the entire balance shifts. City take complete control, Erling Haaland scores two minutes later, Doku gets another, and the game is done. The decision-making from the officials today was shocking. It robs the fans, it robs the players, and frankly, it ruins what should have been an iconic battle. They need to start applying some real football intelligence out there instead of hiding behind harsh whistle-blowing."
