As you go to polls tomorrow , if you are a HSCP or if you or someone you care for will ever need the care of a HSCP, be aware that staffing is currently 40% down and we are told those jobs are gone! This affects everyone who will ever need to attend healthcare services

Many people who need concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy to treat cancer have to travel from all over the north-northwest to Galway to access radiotherapy.
Thankfully from Monday to Friday, “the lodge” @cancercarewest provide accommodation for many of these patients.
If you have not driven from Donegal to Galway before, believe me, it is an experience, of 4 hours duration.
In addition to existing services, there is a new bus transfer service from Letterkenny to UHG, launching 6th August, supported by thefriends.ie
Your UHG appointment letter is your free bus ticket, provided you book in advance!
Fair play to the organisers…

Radiotherapy can destroy cervical cancer cells and save lives, but many women don't have fair access to this treatment. Share this video to show your support for giving all cervical cancer patients a fair chance. #CancerCare4All #RaysOfHope
Many healthcare professionals would be eligible for this post and should not be excluded due to their chosen profession. Very disappointing to see this from @CHO2westjobs
#radiationtherapists echo that dissapointment also. We are continually excluded from Oncology roles but now this also. @HSELive is the plan for an MDT approach simply that... A plan with no action?Exclusion of other relevant professions for these roles must stop @SIPTU
