Removing every shred of support from the genocidal apartheid state of Israel and, in turn, from anyone who supports the Israeli state is NOT a "purity test" or "making the perfect the enemy of the good." There's no acceptable position other than unambiguously fighting to end this holocaust and the horrific occupation. At a bare minimum, this means that elected officials claiming to be pro-Palestinian must not endorse Zionist politicians funding this holocaust. It's an objective fact that most of the DSA-endorsed leaders fail to meet even this basic standard. History will not absolve them for this any more than those silent during the Nazi Holocaust. Those of us fighting against the horrors in Gaza and the West Bank cannot look the other way out of some false idea of "left unity."
