Israel and the United States are still systematically blocking most shelter supplies, and most essential medical aid from entering Gaza. Gaza Health Ministry said about 70% of all medicines are at zero stock, and warns of a breakdown of the entire health system without urgent international replenishment of medical supplies. They said large percentages of essential supplies, around 50%, are completely exhausted and many services (cancer care, surgery, ICU, dialysis, blood bank services) are severely disrupted or near collapse. MoH described hospitals operating far under capacity and warned of a complete healthcare collapse if supplies don’t come in. Most people in Gaza are living in inadequate shelters that fail to meet emergency standards according to UN reports. Some 1.9M people, over 90% of the population, is displaced. Israel has still not allowed any mobile homes, and new tents in any meaningful amount, to enter. At least one dozen children have frozen to death, and most people can’t meet their basic needs.
