Born without hands and with one leg, Dhiraj began learning to hold a pencil with his foot at just 5–6 years old. What started in childhood became a craft he has practiced for 30+ years. This is the story behind the artist and his journey. 🧵👇 Dhiraj is an Indian foot artist from Maharashtra who turned his circumstances into a unique artistic ability. His work spans: → Ink & graphite → Portraits → Religious art → Clay modelling → Ganpati idols → Singing & piano He didn't let limitations decide what he could create. One thing that stands out in his work is the detail. Some pieces begin as simple lines and abstract shapes before gradually forming recognizable faces and figures. His work has featured subjects ranging from Lord Krishna and Ganesha to Lionel Messi and Alia Bhatt. His story has reached a much larger audience. Dhiraj is affiliated with Mouth and Foot Painting Artists India and has been featured by The Better India and Times of India. His YouTube channel has also grown to roughly 246K subscribers, where he shares his art process, tutorials, singing and clay work. Now, Dhiraj is taking his art into Web3.
