It's that time of year and we cannot stress the message enough:
You MUST stop for a stopped school bus which has its red lights and stop-arm activated. Failing to do so is not only illegal, is can also have DEADLY consequences.
Keep you eyes off you phone and on the road ahead. Watch for buses and be prepared for them to make frequent stops. Yellow flashing lights are a warning that a stop is about to happen. That's your cue to slow down and get ready to stop a safe distance from the bus. #SchoolBus #ONHwys #OttTraffic #DriveSafe #RoadSafety ^bd

Some #helmets are designed for a single impact, such as a bicycle helmet, and must be replaced after an impact. Others are multi-impact, such as hockey helmets, and are designed to protect against more than one impact, but must be replaced when you see damage. #TurnSafetyOn and learn more: parachute.ca/en/injury-topic… #ParachuteVZ

⚔️📄 Surviving the crash is only part one of your new saga. Now begins part two: The battle of the paperwork kingdom. Fighting for compensation, treatment, or even just a call back can be maddening. You might feel like a number. A nuisance. A burden. You’re not. ✋ 🛑

Don’t count on just your cell phone to call for help. A marine VHF radio is the most reliable way to reach assistance on the water. Monitor and call Channel 16 in emergencies. 📻

Tires don't reach this level of wear overnight.
Metal cords are exposed, and the tire is so worn that zero-tread depth remains. This tire should have been flagged during a daily vehicle inspection.
