It’s so disrespectful from them to completely ignore africa like that after we all paid the same amount for the game. We can’t host online tournaments cos what’s the point
Kinda disappointed to see the current state of this game rn, but then again with all the stuff we had to deal with such as game breaking bugs (which Is still a thing with GhostFace and needs to be hotfixed) lack of communication from the devs(usually takes them like 2-3 months to address something), no announcement for a season 2 pro komp, which gives most players no motivation to continue playing this game, and overpricing TF out of the DLC expansion, I can't really say I'm not surprised.
Imo this game as a whole just feels unfinished because we're still lacking the bare minimum, such as online lobbies/rooms, having a decent PC port so that way cross-play can be stable, stable servers (and apparently some regions like Africa cant even access online mode sometimes and its been like this since release?????), and a decent single-player mode that the casuals can enjoy. I'm no game developer or anything but aye man, I just call things out the way i see it.

It’s been 7 good Months since Mortal Kombat 1 came out and as usual we still don’t have Servers in West Africa. There are a large number of Mortal Kombat fans/players in Africa and we’ve only been reduced to playing the game we paid $110 for offline. Online was supposed to be something that was made everywhere to any region in 2024. But here we can’t even play peers living 1 Mile apart cos the Ping would be around 330ms. We’re pleading with NRS as usual since the game came out we’ve tried our possible best to get their attention so that they can work some magic for the African scene. The new patch was pretty good for the whole MK1 scene but they further deteriorated the Africa scene once again. All we’ve ever known in MK1 is pings ranging from 225ms to 500ms but now this new patch is not allowing us to play in MK1 because the ping is over 225ms meaning we can’t enjoy anything online anymore since we don’t have servers. This is not fair. Please and please NRS give Weat Africa Servers we beg of you.
