I’m not a conspiracy theorist but right now it’s hard to escape the conclusion there are those in government who WANT the NHS to be overwhelmed so they can bring in their so called radical right solutions. They are emboldened by the feeling they have ‘got away with’ it so far 1/3

I'm just sitting at my desk getting more and more incensed remembering all the times men (who are usually not even photographers) tell me how to take a photo when I'm on a professional photography job. Anyone else? Right, will get back to work now #womenphotograhers #sexism

This is one of the most dangerous anti-democratic pieces of legislation in recent times which seeks to criminalise dissent - and Government is trying to rush it through before the opposition organises. Please RT & ask your MP to oppose it next week #PoliceCrackdownBill
On Monday, the policing bill is being rushed through the Commons. It contains some of the most draconian crackdowns on the right of peaceful protest we've seen in our lifetime. politics.co.uk/comment/2021/…
It was some good news to hear I'd been shortlisted for the Cooper Prize. I hope we'll have a chance to see all the work up at the gallery some time in the coming months.
Very happy to be able to start photographing people again. From a distance and sometimes with a mask but have loved getting back to it. I've really missed it. Grateful for the mentions in the Royal Photographic Society journal and People's Friend too.
