Con respecto a todo lo destacable en La Bola Negra (hay tanto que voy a necesitar un segundo visionado), quiero subrayar el papelón que hacen Lola Dueñas y Carlos González. Cada vez que compartían pantalla creía estar viendo una discusión real.

We shouldn't be mean to people who aren't academically smart but we absolutely have a right + responsibility to shame the intellectually incurious. The world is literally on fire because of anti-intellectualism

France has the largest black & Arab diaspora in Europe. The 17th of October is a symbolic date for protesting, on that same date in 1961, 200 Algerians were killed by police forces & their bodies thrown into the Seine for peacefully protesting unfair curfews imposed on them
French people pretending to be freedom fighters because they don’t have a Black population large enough for their government to justify killing them…

I'm from south italy and several areas here are facing serious difficulties with people struggling to access basic necessities, fuel becoming increasingly difficult to find, and prices skyrocketing. Our fascist government is currently trying to silence us and censor every report

This is actually the most insightful thing I've heard about the riots in Paris today. I'm not joking.
Just in case anyone is wondering: I live in Paris; if I didn’t have X dot com I would have no idea there are riots in France.

X account based in Belgium; poster later said "Yes, I live in Belgium. I’m Belgian." Bio notes jokes/things not meant. Professional bios list Paris. Paris saw record 855 arrests in Oct 17 unrest. x.com/pegobry_en/sta… reuters.com/world/europe/f…

Look at all those people making zero demands of their government and announcing zero consequences if they are not met. Until our government is terrified of the people, this is meaningless.
Holy shit, BOSTON IS LIT! #NoKingsDay

This is most definitely NOT what resistance looks like. A bunch of people politely filing down a street with zero demands and zero consequences if they don't get them is nothing more than a parade. Switch your channel to France to see what a protest with balls looks like.
This is what real resistance looks like! Thousands packing NYC streets in a massive No Kings uprising against Trump’s authoritarian grip, corruption, and power grabs. America has no kings. Flood the midterms and vote his enablers out.

The video is FOX 5 New York aerial footage of large "No Kings" anti-Trump protests in NYC on October 18, 2025 (visible 2025 billboard, matching chyron/ticker). October 17 2026 "No Kings" actions were smaller "Vote Early" midterm rallies, not equivalent marches. youtube.com/watch?v=5nAJPr… fox5ny.com/news/nyc-no-ki… nydailynews.com/2025/10/18/tho… nydailynews.com/2026/10/17/no-…

the trouble is that americans think that protests are just a fun social gathering where you hold up plaques with "I'd rather be at brunch" and sing k-pop demon hunters songs, rather than a means of physically intimidating and scaring the government into doing what you want
WTF is the point of these “No Kings” protests? There is no list of demands. WTH ARE YOU PROTESTING? Trump Bad? Yeah, everyone knows that already. But what are you demanding to change?
