Does anyone happen to know of benefactors who offer sponsorship/ #bursaries to British students who wish to study abroad. Without the #Erasmus funding some are finding it too expensive to go.
Three of my current students and one recent graduate are standing in the #LocalElections2023 Wishing them the best of luck as they wait for the votes to come in. Fantastic to see so many of you putting yourselves forward and strengthening local democracy!

Really proud of the students and colleagues who made this happen #InternationalRomaniDay
In celebration of International Romani Day on 8 April, the University and @christchurchsu are proud to be flying the Romani Flag outside Augustine House. You can also explore a curated display of books about the Romani community with our @ccculibrary Team: ow.ly/lGGj50NBozY
Excellent post by my colleague David Hitchcock about why we urgently need to find a way to introduce a better model of student number controls. The system is very, very broken hitchcockian.medium.com/on-w… @UWankings @wiasnofficial @ucu

We are conducting a consultation aimed at social workers and legal professionals that can help us identify factors which may impact the over-representation of Roma children in the care system.

I’m striking with a heavy heart but we are left with no other choice. HE is almost broken and this is the only way to try to reverse the decline before it’s too late.
Every single university in the UK will strike on the following dates:
Nov 2️⃣4️⃣
Nov 2️⃣5️⃣
Nov 3️⃣0️⃣
70,000 UCU members will be delivering the biggest picket lines in our history
RT if you stand with them.

Very excited that we are recruiting a new colleague (SL/Permanent). Please share with anyone whose teaching and research intersect politics/IR and law Could be #migration #HumanRights #publiclaw #globalgovernance the list is endless!

Completely agree. How on earth can the government be planning a jolly conference as the economy implodes?
I've written to @trussliz demanding an emergency recall of Parliament following the disastrous Tory budget.
The UK economy is in crisis. All of us will pay the price as interest rates, mortgages and the cost of goods rise.
MPs should be in parliament holding the govt to account

Having been promised an energy price freeze, millions will be shocked when hit with a 25% rise in fuel bills in October.
5 million kids risk being pushed into poverty, with charities having to stop feeding the hungry so they can help the starving.
We have to act.
