🐦 Is your suet feeder ready?
As temperatures cool, it’s a great time to bring out the suet! 🍂 It provides high-energy food and can attract woodpeckers, chickadees & nuthatches.
Who visits your suet feeder? 👀

One of the most difficult shots I ever took. Favaritx lighthouse right before totality in Menorca, with my friends at photopills. Shooting from a boat in choppy water. Never again 😂

It's fawn season in the grasslands! Deer and pronghorn fawns spend their first days hidden in tall grass while mom feeds nearby. If you find a fawn alone, it's likely not abandoned. Admire from a distance and keep people & pets away. #ABWildlife #Grasslands #Alberta

Prairie falcons nest on cliff ledges and in crevices across the prairies, often using minimal nest material. They’ll also reuse abandoned nests of other cliff nesting birds, as likely shown here. Fiercely territorial, they defend their nests with loud calls and dive-bombing.

Breaking news! A major step forward for Indigenous-led conservation in Northern Manitoba has been achieved.
Today, four First Nations, alongside the Governments of Canada and Manitoba, released a proposal to protect the Seal River Watershed. The collaborative proposition takes a “star blanket” approach to conservation, combining different tools to ensure long-term protection of lands, waters, and wildlife.
