Its creepy miniature season again!

I got to bring my youngest kid onto our livestream, and it was a blast seeing him interact with our regular crew.

Flashback to many years ago with Alana Rose from the SyFy Channel's "Face/Off" series. She created an original Laughing Moon character in front of the audience. This was so much fun, and incredibly cool to watch the character come to life right there before our eyes!

We had a giant encounter at a town festival where a number of fantastical creatures were released from their cages to create pure chaos. For those interested, this has a crazy collection of minis from classic Grenadier, RAFM, Ral Partha, to several modern pieces as well.

Got a couple of new players around the table recently, and had the chance to introduce the Laughing Moon setting to first time gamers. Lots of fun, and hopefully we'll bring them back for more! #ttrpg #laughingmoonrpg

Our last adventure led to an undercover mission at the Silken Veil cabaret. Sure everything looked fine on the surface, but a dark and dangerous fey demon had possessed one of the dancers, just waiting for the opportunity to devour an unsuspecting crowd. #ttrpg

Orc camp. Pretty good mix of old Citadel #lotr minis, Ral Partha, and some of the "newer" Middle-Earth miis from the last 20 years. Funny how those still seem new to me! #ttrpg

This is the library set from a terrain company called Tiles From the Crypt. Really loving how it all turned out, and there is a lot of attention to detail here. This set featured heavily in our recent endgame encounter and the player's loved it!

Just a small collection of pics from the first day of our Laughing Moon Gamer's Retreat. Three days of tabletop gaming with two big tables running concurrently!

Gia brought justice to our gamer's retreat weekend!

We had some creepy crawly encounters in last night's adventure!

We're gonna be having fun around the gaming table today, and you can drop in to say hi! twitch.tv/laughingmoonrpg

Today, my Laughing Moon setting celebrates 31 years since the dice hit the table for our first official adventure. In that time I've had the pleasure of sharing my table with many wonderful people, some of whom have left an indelible mark upon my world, and upon me, too 🌙

Tomorrow marks the 31st Anniversary of the very first Laughing Moon adventure and the start of something that would define my creative life. To celebrate, I've unlocked the vast majority of posts on Patreon for you to access for FREE! patreon.com/c/laughingmoon

The heroes encountered a swarm of fey creatures known as the vleeth in our last adventure. I made a stand-in for the swarm with a cotton ball, but I think it worked out :)

This build took several hours to put together, but we ended up using it for three long sessions and really got to dig in. Tearing it down took equally long. Worth it? Absolutely. #laughingmoonrpg #dwarvenforge

This sign used to hang on the wall at The Hobbydashery, the first gaming store I ever shopped in back in my home town in Missouri. When it closed in the 90s, I asked if I could buy it, and in 2017 I managed to get it signed by Larry Elmore at a local convention. Its old, faded, and shows its wear, but I feel as though the message it conveys hits home now more than ever. @WeisMargaret

I kicked off a new story with some small clues last week, but this next adventure things get much...BIGGER. We'll be live at 5pm (MT) and we would love for you to join the fun! #ttrpg #twitch #laughingmoonrpg #gamenight

I incorporated the @dwarvenforge catacombs set into my table build for our last adventure and was reminded again of just how gorgeous this set really is. So many details are worked into each and every piece! It really sets the stage for a creepy dungeon crawl.
